The accessible announcement confirms those broad categories, but not the roadmap graphic’s individual dates or milestone labels. Later official patch notes document content that arrived; they should not be mistaken for a readable copy of the original schedule.
What did Arrowhead announce?
Arrowhead described the March 17 roadmap as a forward-looking outline of the game’s direction over the next several months. Its stated scope included updates, new biomes, warfronts, enemies and quality-of-life improvements. The announcement also framed the outline as incomplete rather than a full reveal of every detail.

What later official patch notes confirmed
Patch notes show content documented after the roadmap announcement. They provide evidence of shipped features, but do not establish that every feature appeared as a dated milestone in the original graphic.

Patch 6.1.0: Illuminate enemies and an Exospire mission
Arrowhead’s 6.1.0 notes describe Illuminate Appropriators, piloted constructs named Veracitor and Gatekeeper, and an Obtruder Watcher variant. They also list Exostorms and the Destroy Exospire mission. The mission objective involves disabling a force shield through access nodes, then destroying Dark Fluid cells in the Exospire core.
The notes page displays August 30, 2026. Its reference to March 20, 2186 is an in-game date, not the real-world publication date.

Patch 6.2.2: Biomes and an Exo Suit rebalance
The 6.2.2 notes, dated July 8, 2026, highlight two new biomes, an enemy variant and a major Exo Suit rebalance. Their overview mentions forest planets and ominous signals on Gloom-infested planets; it does not provide further detail about those signals in the available text.
Patch 6.3.0: Campaign tools, a forest biome and tank patterns
Arrowhead’s 6.3.0 notes, also dated August 30, 2026, list Galactic Campaigns, a Control Centre terminal, a fall forest biome and Bastion Tank patterns. The terminal provides context for campaigns and Major Orders. Arrowhead says it will also contain an archive of previous campaigns after the first campaign concludes.

Machinery of Oppression launch and platform context
Xbox Wire’s February 10, 2026 launch overview describes Machinery of Oppression as an in-game update for owners and says the content requires the base game. That launch coverage predates Arrowhead’s March roadmap announcement: the two dates refer to different announcements, not a conflicting roadmap timeline.
