The identifiable report behind “Helldivers 2 Leak Reveals New Combat Vehicle” dates to August 7, 2024—not 2026. EGW.News reported that a leak pointed to the return of the TD-110 Bastion tank and hinted at a four-wheeled Colony Rover. Those were leak claims, not an Arrowhead announcement, and no source here establishes a newly surfaced 2026 leak about either vehicle.
What did the Helldivers 2 leak reportedly reveal?
In an August 7, 2024 report, EGW.News said community leaker IronS1ghts had indicated that the TD-110 Bastion from the original Helldivers would return. The story also described a Colony Rover, a four-wheeled off-road vehicle, as hinted at in leaked material.

EGW.News characterized the Bastion as a mobile cannon vehicle requiring a driver and gunner. These vehicle descriptions are the outlet’s account of the leak; they are not independently verified specifications or confirmation from Arrowhead. The report does not establish that either vehicle was released or that the claims have been confirmed.
What is officially confirmed about Helldivers 2 vehicles?
Fast Recon Vehicle
Arrowhead’s December 17, 2024 patch notes officially introduced the Fast Recon Vehicle in colony missions. The notes said it would appear “ready to plow through the Illuminate at high speed.” That is an official vehicle announcement, separate from the earlier Bastion and Colony Rover leak report. Read the patch notes.

M-103 Supply FRV
A July 2026 official Helldivers 2 Steam announcement said the M-103 Supply FRV was scheduled to become permanently available in October 2026 and unlockable with Requisition slips. As of October 8, 2026, that announcement establishes the planned timing, but not whether the vehicle is already available in-game; check the game for its current status.

No source cited here establishes that. The identifiable Bastion and Colony Rover story is a secondary report from August 2024, while Arrowhead’s later official announcements concern FRVs. The September 22, 2026 Devoid of Liberty patch notes include FRV-related fixes, but do not substantiate the older Bastion claim. The report’s connection to any current headline is therefore uncertain.

In short, the answer to “What is the new combat vehicle in Helldivers 2?” depends on what “new” means: the older leak report named the Bastion and Colony Rover, while Arrowhead officially announced the Fast Recon Vehicle and later scheduled the M-103 Supply FRV. They should not be presented as one confirmed vehicle reveal.
