There is no official confirmation, in the PlayStation sources checked as of October 13, 2026, that a Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond called Scope of Authority exists or launches on October 20. Its release date, contents, price and unlock requirements have not been verified. PlayStation’s recent official Warbond announcement was for Ironclad Democracy, announced September 15 for September 22, 2026.
Is the Scope of Authority Warbond coming out October 20?
The date is unconfirmed. Searches of PlayStation’s official Helldivers 2 news listing and for the specific name and date did not locate an official announcement as of October 13, 2026. That is a limited finding, not proof that the Warbond does not exist; it means players should treat the title and October 20 date as unverified unless Arrowhead or PlayStation confirms them directly.

The latest official Warbond announcement surfaced in that listing was Ironclad Democracy. PlayStation announced it on September 15, 2026, with deployment set for Tuesday, September 22. That announcement concerns a different Warbond and does not confirm Scope of Authority.
What is in Scope of Authority, and how much does it cost?
No official item roster, price, currency requirement, unlock path, platform availability or regional details for Scope of Authority were verified. No attributable statement or statistic specific to this purported Warbond was located either. Claims about its weapons, armor, cost or release contents should not be treated as confirmed without a direct official announcement.

PlayStation’s Ironclad Democracy announcement lists items including weapons, armor, throwables, capes, a booster, an emote, player cards, a title and vehicle patterns. Those details illustrate the kind of information an official Warbond announcement may provide; they are not a preview of Scope of Authority.
What can players infer about Warbond requirements?
Not the requirements for this specific offer. PlayStation’s Ironclad Democracy announcement says that Warbond requires the base game, Super Credits and game progression to unlock. A separate PlayStation announcement for Entrenched Division, dated March 10, 2026, describes a Premium Warbond requiring the base game, paid purchase of Super Credits and game progression. These are examples from other Warbonds, not confirmed terms for Scope of Authority.

How do Warbond refunds work?
Arrowhead Player Support’s refund page, updated October 7, 2026, says in-game item refund requests are limited to purchases made within the previous seven days. A Warbond refund is possible only if nothing has been purchased from that Warbond. The page allows three separate refunds per year, each covering up to three items. Refunds for the full game or Super Credit purchases must be requested through the relevant platform.
