What the 2024 report said was added
Windows Central’s 2 April 2024 report tied the enemies’ appearance to Patch 01.000.200. The article said the reproduced notes did not name either Factory Striders or gunships. The available sources do not establish why they were omitted, so there is no confirmed explanation for the silence.

Factory Striders, not AT-ATs
The report describes Factory Striders as heavily armored walkers equipped with a large laser cannon and forward blasters. The headline’s “AT-AT” comparison refers to their appearance; it is not the unit’s name. The article gives conflicting leg counts, so a precise count is not established here. It recommends heavy weapons against the walker, but that is reported advice rather than a controlled weapon comparison.
Gunships and their factories
Windows Central describes gunships as aircraft that emerge from factories on the map and attack from above with lasers and rockets. Its reported advice is to target their engines, which it says are more vulnerable, and destroy their factories to prevent further spawns. These tactics are attributed to the article, not presented as independently tested findings.

Later gunship changes are separate
Arrowhead Game Studios’ official Patch 01.000.300, dated 16 August 2026, later adjusted gunship movement and reduced the number of gunships a spawner could have active at once. The notes state: “Gunship spawners now have a much lower cap on how many gunships they can have active at the same time.” That is later balancing context, not part of the 2024 Patch 01.000.200 story.
The game continued to receive updates after that: Arrowhead’s Into the Unjust: 6.0.1 announcement is dated 30 August 2026, while the official announcements page includes September and October 2026 posts. The “new update” wording belongs to the original 2024 report, not to a current release.
