Arrowhead’s Into the Unjust: 4.1.0, released on February 3, 2026, was a major fixes-focused update: the studio said it fixed more than 200 bugs while revisiting balance, stability and quality-of-life issues. But it did not establish a regular patch schedule, and Arrowhead’s support index now lists later updates, through 7.1.0.
What did Helldivers 2 patch 4.1.0 change?
Arrowhead described 4.1.0 as a shift toward addressing player-reported pain points and making the game feel better to play. The official notes say the update fixed more than 200 bugs and included balance changes, quality-of-life improvements and optimization work. The studio called it a step forward in both the game and its approach to improvement, while saying further refinements were underway.

The patch was broader than a list of bug fixes. Its notes cover weapon balance, crashes, stratagems, mission interactions, enemies, networking and performance-related systems. They document what Arrowhead changed; they do not provide benchmarks showing how much performance improved or establish that every player experienced a smoother game.
Which bugs and stability problems were addressed?
The notes list fixes across multiple parts of play, including stratagem placement and use, weapons, enemy behavior, mission interactions and networking. Crash fixes address scenarios involving the Illuminates, hotjoining, Eagle-1, enemy spawning, vehicles and weapon customization.

That range matters: the “over 200” figure is Arrowhead’s overall count, not a claim that 200 separate crashes or any one specific category was fixed. The notes identify areas of work but do not quantify outcomes for individual fixes.
How did weapon balance change?
Arrowhead said it aimed to make light- and medium-penetration weapons feel more distinct, alongside general improvements to primaries, sidearms, throwables and stratagems. The official patch notes give these weapon damage changes:

Those figures are patch-note values, not independent measurements of in-game performance. The notes also describe stronger close-range damage for SMGs and pistols alongside stronger damage falloff, so the changes should not be read as a uniform increase at every range.

The optimization notes identify work on status effects, physics, AI behavior, stuttering during Hive World drop-ins, audio processing, rendering and assets. These entries show that Arrowhead targeted several potential sources of technical friction. The studio did not publish measured frame-rate gains or guarantee that the changes would resolve performance issues on every system.

Does 4.1.0 mark the start of regular Helldivers 2 fixes?
It marks a stated change in focus, not a published release cadence. Arrowhead said it had overhauled its patching approach to better target player-reported problems and that more refinements were in progress. GamesRadar reported that CEO Shams Jorjani invited players to share what was and was not working and said another patch was lined up. Those comments support an ongoing improvement effort, but they do not promise weekly, monthly or otherwise regularly timed updates.
Is 4.1.0 still the latest Helldivers 2 patch?
No. Arrowhead’s support index lists later updates, including 6.0.1, 6.1.0, 6.2.2, 6.3.0, 7.0.0 and 7.1.0. The index’s latest listed version is Devoid of Liberty: 7.1.0, so 4.1.0 is best understood as the fixes-focused patch from February 2026, not the current latest update.
