Yes: Helldivers 2 has a fictional Terminid attraction called Tyranny Park, and its story follows a very Jurassic Park-style pattern: a creature-viewing park suffers a breakout, then a larger successor also fails. The Jurassic Park connection is an apparent allusion, not a confirmed developer reference.
What is Tyranny Park in Helldivers 2?
Tyranny Park is an in-universe visitor attraction where citizens of Super Earth could observe Terminids. The first park was part of the Terminid Research Preserve. Its promotional pitch, reproduced by the community-maintained Helldivers Wiki, promised that “adventurous and well-paying citizens” could see the bugs in their natural environment. Because that wording is reproduced by a community wiki rather than verified here against an in-game dispatch, treat it as a reported briefing quote.
How did the two parks fail?
The original Tyranny Park
The Helldivers Wiki records an emergency dispatch dated November 12, 2184 in the game’s fictional calendar. It says an internal malfunction led to a Terminid breakout, a wider emergency, and the destruction of the first park. The incident turns the attraction’s educational-tourism premise into a containment disaster.
Tyranny Park 2 on Bore Rock
Super Earth later authorized a larger replacement on Bore Rock. In its August 13, 2025 report, GamesRadar described the Major Order that asked players to liberate Bore Rock, kill specified Terminids, and gather samples to build and populate the park.

The wiki’s account says the second facility also fell: attacks disabled a Charger Behemoth enclosure, the occupants escaped, the park was overrun, and Bore Rock was lost. That sequence is community-wiki lore; it should not be mistaken for an independently verified official account.

The premise makes the comparison easy: both involve displaying dangerous creatures behind containment systems, followed by a security failure and escape. The Helldivers Wiki calls the name “most likely” a reference to Jurassic Park, but the sources cited here do not establish that the developers confirmed the connection. “Jurassic Park-style” is a fair description of the resemblance; “officially confirmed homage” goes beyond what is documented.
