The exact new Switch and PlayStation release trailer described in the headline could not be verified. What is confirmed: Nintendo published a Switch announcement trailer on June 18, 2024, and official storefronts now list the game for Switch, Switch 2 and PlayStation in different forms. Those listings do not establish that the 2024 trailer is a new cross-platform release trailer.
Which trailer is confirmed?
Nintendo of America published an official Hello Kitty Island Adventure Nintendo Switch announcement trailer on June 18, 2024. Its description said, “Hello Kitty Island Adventure is arriving on Nintendo Switch in 2025!” That was a Switch announcement, not evidence of a newly released trailer covering both Switch and PlayStation.
The specific “new Switch & PlayStation release trailer” has not been identified by the available official sources. Its publication date, footage and any release-date announcement therefore remain unconfirmed.

These sources do not verify a physical edition tied to the trailer, and a PlayStation listing alone does not confirm what a particular trailer shows or when the game first launched on that platform.
