What the Deluxe extras actually do
The Nailer is a weapon, not just a skin
The Nailer is a bonus melee weapon. Saber Interactive says it becomes available from Zora’s shop the first time you encounter it. That means the item is part of the game’s weapon selection, rather than simply a cosmetic appearance for another melee weapon.

The two skins and charm are cosmetic add-ons
The Deluxe package includes a Cenobite skin for the shotgun, a Punisher skin for the baseball bat, and a Leviathan weapon charm. A skin changes the appearance of its associated weapon; it is not a separate weapon. Saber says a skin appears after you obtain the relevant weapon, and that the Deluxe skin is automatically equipped at that point. You can change it later from the inventory.
The charm is another customization item. The listed contents establish that it is a weapon charm, but do not describe any gameplay effect. Treat it as a cosmetic extra unless the in-game item information says otherwise.
The art book, soundtrack, novella, and filter are digital extras
The digital art book and soundtrack are accessed from the game’s main menu, according to Saber’s FAQ. The Deluxe version also includes the digital novella Bleeding Hearts. These are additions for players interested in the game’s artwork, music, or associated fiction; the available edition information does not describe them as new missions or campaign content.

The 80s horror movie filter is an optional visual effect applied through the options menu. It changes the game’s presentation rather than adding a separate mode or story. The exact controls or customization options for the filter are not specified in the cited FAQ, so check the in-game options if you want to know how it looks before committing to a purchase.
Watch for a Deluxe bundle versus a Deluxe add-on
“Deluxe” can describe either a package that includes the base game or an add-on containing only the Deluxe extras. Those are not interchangeable purchases. Steam’s Deluxe Content listing explicitly requires the base game. If you do not already own the game, buying an add-on alone may leave you without access to play it.
- Read the product name and description. Confirm whether the listing says it includes the base game, or calls itself Deluxe Content or an add-on.
- Check ownership requirements. On Steam, the Deluxe Content add-on requires the base game. Do not assume that buying the add-on grants the game.
- Compare the included items. Make sure the listing names the extras you expect, especially if a retailer uses a shortened title.
- Check platform and region. Store pages can differ by country and platform, including how prices are displayed.
If you already own Standard, an add-on may be the relevant route to the Deluxe extras, depending on the store’s current offering. If you do not own the game, choose a listing explicitly identified as a full Deluxe bundle, or buy Standard and the add-on separately if that option is available and makes sense at the prices shown. The cited information does not establish that every platform sells Deluxe in both forms.

Physical copies and platform formats
Saber lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam as supported platforms, with a release date of October 8, 2026. Its FAQ distinguishes the physical console formats: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S editions have physical discs, while Nintendo Switch 2 editions are sold as game key cards. A key card is not the same format as a conventional game cartridge, so check the specific listing if owning a cartridge-based copy matters to you.

Collector editions: verify the live listing
Collector editions are a separate consideration from the Standard and Digital Deluxe game versions. Saber’s FAQ says Boss Team Games is responsible for collector-edition sales and fulfillment. A secondary edition guide describes Genesis, Cenobite, and Leviathan tiers and collectibles, but that information does not establish what is currently in stock or confirm the exact contents and price of a live offer.

For a collector purchase, use the current official Boss Team Games listing as the source of truth for the tier name, what is in the box, price, shipping terms, and availability. Do not rely on a past description or an old retailer page for current stock. The publisher’s FAQ identifies who handles sales and fulfillment, but does not itself supply a complete current collector-edition contents list or shipping status.

The Xbox listing describes the Labyrinth pistol skin and Martyr sawblade skin as pre-order bonuses for any edition. Since Hellraiser: Revival released on October 8, 2026, a purchase made after launch should not be assumed to include them. A post-release retailer listing may continue to mention the bonuses, omit them, or have different terms; confirm the specific offer before paying if these items matter to you.

How to choose the right edition
Choose Standard if the game is what you want
Standard is the straightforward choice if you want the base game and do not value the additional weapon, cosmetics, digital reading and listening material, or filter enough to pay more for them. It is also the simplest option when a store’s Deluxe offer is an add-on and you still need to buy the base game separately.
Choose Deluxe if you will use its extras
Deluxe makes sense if you want The Nailer, plan to customize the shotgun and bat, or expect to use the included digital extras. Compare the actual difference between Standard and Deluxe in your own store rather than assuming the cited US or UK prices apply to you. If a listing is an add-on, include the cost of the base game when comparing the total.
Choose by the format you want to own
If physical media matters, the publisher confirms discs for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and a game key card for Switch 2. If you prefer a digital purchase, verify whether it is the full game, a bundle, or an add-on. Platform and ownership format are separate from the edition’s content: a Deluxe label alone does not tell you whether you are buying a disc, a key card, or a digital license.
Consider playtime as context, not a promise
Saber estimates a playthrough at around 8–12 hours, depending on playstyle. That is publisher guidance, not an independently measured completion-time result, and individual runs may differ. It can help you judge whether the Deluxe extras matter to you, but it does not change what each edition includes.
What each listing tells you—and what it does not
The official PlayStation Store page identifies Saber Interactive as publisher and describes the game as first-person action horror survival, following Aidan as he tries to help Sunny escape the Labyrinth. That establishes the broad premise and genre; it does not suggest that Deluxe has a different story. Likewise, the edition details establish which digital and in-game extras are listed, but do not guarantee that a particular post-launch retailer offer includes every bonus mentioned on a separate product page.
