The available material does not provide a room-by-room puzzle list or a fixed sequence of box combinations. It does establish the central rule: puzzle progress comes from using the configuration to manipulate the Labyrinth, not from leaving it in your inventory as a passive key.

It is best understood as an action survival-horror hybrid. The game is first-person and includes earthly weapons, enemy groups and executions, so combat is a substantial part of play. At the same time, the Genesis Configuration changes the Labyrinth, solves environmental puzzles and gates routes, making puzzle interaction part of the core progression rather than an optional diversion.
Calling it only a shooter misses the box-driven exploration and the way Suffering feeds supernatural abilities. Calling it only a puzzle game ignores the listed weapons, hostile humans, monsters, cultists, priests and Cenobites. The balance may vary by area, but no official source supplies a percentage split between combat and puzzles. That makes a physical “Hellraiser puzzle box” or “Genesis Configuration puzzle box” a natural companion for fans who want a display piece as well as the game.
The announcement does not establish a universal retailer, final price, release allocation or current stock status. Treat those details as edition- and region-dependent until an official storefront confirms them.
What is still unknown about progression?
The confirmed systems describe how play connects, but they do not answer every implementation question. No complete upgrade list, skill-tree layout, power-leveling rules, campaign-length statistic or detailed crafting catalogue has been published in the cited official materials.
