Then tune one demanding option at a time at your own resolution. DSOGaming’s October 10, 2026 benchmark documents several quality controls and upscalers, but it does not establish one best preset for every PC. Its results also show why resolution matters: every tested GPU reached 60 FPS at 1080p Epic, while native 4K Epic was substantially harder to sustain.
Check your PC against the published requirements
Steam lists these system requirements for the PC version of Hellraiser: Revival. The requirements identify the hardware class the game is intended to run on; they do not promise a specific frame rate, resolution, or graphics preset.

Steam and Saber Interactive both recommend an SSD. Saber’s support FAQ phrases the note as “Additional Notes: SSD is recommended”. That is storage guidance, not evidence that replacing a drive will raise frame rates. Confirm you have the required free space before installation; an SSD is the publisher-recommended storage type.
What the requirement tiers tell you
- Below minimum: Your system falls short of the listed starting point in at least one component. The available benchmark does not establish what performance a below-minimum PC will deliver.
- At or near minimum: Treat the minimum as a compatibility reference, not a 60-FPS target. Start with a modest resolution and adjust image-quality settings only after checking performance in the game.
- At or above recommended: This still is not a guaranteed frame rate at every resolution. The independent results vary notably between 1080p and native 4K, so choose settings in relation to your display resolution and frame-rate goal.
Steam identifies Saber Interactive as both developer and publisher. Saber describes the game as a single-player first-person action horror survival game; Steam’s description follows Aidan as he uses the Genesis Configuration to try to rescue Sunny from the Labyrinth. Saber lists an October 8, 2026 release and availability on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. This guide concerns the PC version and its graphics options.

Which graphics options and upscalers are documented?
DSOGaming’s PC performance analysis reports adjustable quality for view distance, shadows, textures, global illumination, reflections and other settings. It also reports support for NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FSR 3.0 and Intel XeSS 2. The report does not provide a universal recommended value for each control, or a mode-by-mode comparison that would justify naming a best upscaler setting.

What the benchmark says about resolution and performance
DSOGaming published its analysis on October 10, 2026. In its selected demanding scene from the first hour, all GPUs in its tested set reached 60 FPS at 1080p with Epic settings. At 1440p Epic, the five fastest tested cards stayed above 60 FPS at all times. At native 4K Epic, only the RTX 5090 remained above 60 FPS throughout; the RTX 4090 averaged 65 FPS and dipped to 57 FPS.

Use the results to set expectations, not copy a preset
- At 1080p: The test’s entire GPU set reached 60 FPS in that scene at Epic. That does not mean every GPU or every gameplay area will behave identically, and the report does not give enough evidence to promise a 60-FPS minimum for your system.
- At 1440p: The five fastest tested cards stayed above 60 FPS throughout the tested scene at Epic. The result does not name a single setting configuration for slower cards.
- At native 4K: Epic settings were demanding even for high-end hardware in the test. The RTX 4090’s 65-FPS average alongside a 57-FPS dip shows why an average alone does not guarantee that performance stays above 60 FPS.
The tested scene also had traversal stutters despite generally strong performance results. A high frame rate in one moment therefore does not prove that movement through every area will be perfectly smooth. DSOGaming says the game has no built-in benchmark tool, so its selected scene is not a repeatable in-game benchmark supplied to players.
A practical way to tune settings on your own PC
Because neither the benchmark nor the published requirements prescribe a universal preset, use your own display resolution and frame-rate goal as the decision points. The following is a suggested adjustment method, not a Hellraiser: Revival test performed by this article.

- Record your starting point. Note your resolution, current graphics quality, whether an upscaler is active, and how the game feels in a scene you can revisit. This gives you a baseline for comparison.
- Check the machine and installation first. Compare the CPU, GPU, RAM and Windows version with the requirements above, and make sure the game has 80 GB available. Saber recommends an SSD, but the requirement does not equate drive type with a particular frame rate.
- Choose the target that matters to you. Decide whether you want to maintain a particular frame-rate threshold, preserve visual quality, or find a compromise. The benchmark’s 60-FPS figures are specific to its tested scene and do not set a guaranteed target for other PCs.
- Test at your intended resolution. Do not tune at 1080p and assume the result will transfer to 1440p or 4K. The DSOGaming results show substantially different outcomes across those resolutions.
- Change one quality option at a time. Evaluate view distance, shadows, textures, global illumination or reflections individually. Revisit the same scene and observe both smoothness and the visual change before trying another control. This makes it easier to identify which compromise, if any, is worthwhile.
- Consider upscaling if native rendering misses your goal. DLSS 4, FSR 3.0 and XeSS 2 are reported as supported. Try a mode available to your system and compare its appearance and performance at your chosen resolution; the cited report does not identify a best mode or quality setting for every GPU.
- Recheck the full play experience. A demanding scene, a traversal-heavy moment and a quieter area may not perform alike. A result from one scene cannot establish that a change fixes every stutter or holds a frame-rate target throughout the game.
There is no published in-game benchmark, so consistency matters more than pretending to have a perfectly controlled measurement. Use the same scene, resolution and comparable gameplay conditions for each adjustment. If a change does not improve the experience enough to justify its visual cost, restore the previous value and test another option.

How to interpret stutters and disappointing performance
DSOGaming reports traversal stutters in its test. The report does not establish a single cause or a guaranteed fix, so do not assume that lowering one setting will eliminate them. Distinguish a generally low frame rate from brief interruptions during movement: the benchmark’s strong results and its stutter observation occurred together, which means the average result alone is not a complete description of smoothness.

- If performance is below your target throughout a scene, first verify that you are judging it at the same resolution and conditions as your baseline. Then try one graphics-quality adjustment at a time or evaluate an available upscaler.
- If performance is usually acceptable but stutters during traversal, note where and when they occur rather than treating a single average as proof that the issue is resolved. The available report does not identify a specific cause or remedy.
- If results change after a game update or driver change, reassess your settings. The October 10, 2026 analysis uses its stated October drivers and selected scene; it cannot account for later patches or driver behavior.
- If your system is below the listed requirements, do not infer expected performance from the benchmark’s GPU results, which used a different test machine and a selection of substantially specified cards.
Saber says it expects post-launch patches for discovered issues. That makes the age of any performance result relevant: the October 2026 benchmark describes its test build and conditions, not necessarily later versions of the game.
So, what are the best settings for Hellraiser: Revival on PC?
There is no evidence-backed universal “best settings” list in the available performance report. A suitable configuration depends on the GPU, resolution and frame-rate target, and the report does not test a tailored preset for every combination. Start by checking the requirements, test at your actual resolution, and make controlled single-setting changes. Use the benchmark as a reference for how resolution affected one demanding scene—not as a promise that your system will reproduce its results.
