If your “Anadius packs” have disappeared, first work out whether they are missing from the EA app, from The Sims 4’s in-game pack list, or only from a particular save. The right check depends on where the packs were obtained and which account owns them. For packs purchased through the EA app, start in the game’s Library entry and verify the add-ons there.
First, identify what is missing
The wording “gone” can mean several different things: an add-on may not appear in the EA app, it may be absent from the game’s pack list, or its content may not show in a save. The Reddit post with this title could not be retrieved, so its platform, ownership details, and exact symptom are unknown; there is no verified cause or fix for that specific player.
Before changing anything, note where the packs were bought or obtained—EA app, Steam, Epic, or console—and whether you are signed into the account that owns them. An EA app library check can confirm EA-app add-ons, but it does not establish ownership or installation status on another storefront. Digital add-ons are tied to the relevant account and platform, so begin with that account’s purchase and add-on management rather than physical repair or replacement.
Check EA-app purchases in Manage add-ons
- Open the EA app and select Library. Make sure you are signed into the EA account used to purchase the packs.
- Find The Sims 4. Open the game tile’s three-dot menu, then select Manage add-ons.
- Check the add-ons list. EA says DLC and expansions are listed with the game’s add-ons, rather than appearing as full games in the main Library. See EA’s guide to finding games missing from the EA app Library.
If a pack is not listed, check that you have the correct EA account. If it was purchased through Steam, Epic, or a console storefront, use that platform’s purchase and add-on management instead; the EA-app steps do not confirm entitlements from other stores.

Refresh the EA app if owned add-ons are missing
If the account should own the content but the EA app is not displaying it, EA recommends clearing the app cache and restarting the app. If the library still looks wrong, sign out and back in to refresh it. Follow EA’s current missing-library troubleshooting steps.
If the issue began after a game update
Consider this branch only if the missing items are mods or custom content, or if the problem is that modded content no longer appears after a patch. EA says it disables mods after updates to reduce problems. Its guidance is to confirm the game works correctly with mods disabled before re-enabling them; a mod may need an update or reinstall to work with the current patch. Check the creator’s compatibility information before turning mods back on. This general advice does not show that an update caused an Anadius pack to disappear. What EA says about mods and custom content
EA and Maxis state that they “don’t pre-screen, endorse, or support specific Mods or Custom Content.” Anadius tools are not established as official or EA-approved, and EA’s published troubleshooting guidance does not verify a cause or recovery method for unofficial unlockers. If the issue involves content not owned through the platform account, the EA-app purchase checks above cannot confirm its entitlement or restore it.
