No. The official HoN Reborn website says its open beta is available to all players and provides account and download options. The original Heroes of Newerth service closed in 2022, so keys from its earlier beta are historical—not a way into the current game.
How to access HoN Reborn now
- Go to the official HoN Reborn website.
- Use the site’s account creation option if you do not already have an account.
- Follow the download option on the site to get the game.
The homepage currently describes the open beta as “now open to all players.” Beta access can change, so check that official page for the latest status before downloading. The site also publishes ongoing updates in its patch notes.
Why old HoN beta-key offers still appear
There are two different periods behind searches for “Heroes of Newerth beta keys.” The original game’s closed beta used keys or invitations, according to a regional HoN Thailand article dated March 28, 2010. That describes access at the time, not current access.
A later HoN Reborn Genesis Campaign on Juvio offered supporters tiered access to a planned closed beta, with higher contribution tiers promised earlier access. The campaign page now marks the campaign ended. These historic invitations and supporter offers do not establish a current key requirement.

Original Heroes of Newerth and HoN Reborn are not the same access period

No current official key purchase or third-party code is established by the available information. Since the official Reborn site says the open beta is open to all players, use its account and download flow rather than relying on old listings, supporter codes, or invitations. The sources do not establish whether any third-party code is valid.
