When did Hollow Knight: Silksong release?
Hollow Knight: Silksong released on September 4, 2025. Steam lists that date on its official game page, and Team Cherry announced the date in its release-trailer description.

Team Cherry’s September 1, 2025 announcement gave these times:
- 7 a.m. Pacific Time (PT)
- 10 a.m. Eastern Time (ET)
- 4 p.m. Central European Summer Time (CEST)
- 11 p.m. Japan Standard Time (JST)
Windows Central reproduced the developer’s announcement, including the times and prices, in its September 1, 2025 report.

Current US PlayStation Store listing
As of October 8, 2026, the US PlayStation Store listing shows Silksong at $19.99 for PS4 and PS5. Check your local storefront for its current price and edition before buying; listings can change.

Where can you play it, and what access options were announced?
Team Cherry’s August 21, 2025 release-trailer description named Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, GOG and Humble Bundle as purchase platforms. Steam identifies Team Cherry as both developer and publisher and lists the game as single-player. Its page also lists the official soundtrack as additional digital content.
Game Pass at launch
Xbox Wire announced on September 2, 2025 that the game would be available on September 4 through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, on Cloud, Console and PC. That confirms a day-one subscription option, not current catalog status. Check the Game Pass catalog for present availability and plan terms before relying on subscription access.
