To complete the Roach Guts Hunt Wish, accept it from Crull and Benjin in Sinner’s Road, collect 10 Roach Guts from Muckroaches, then return to the pair for the Tacks tool. Do it before Act 3 if you want to turn in the Wish: a community wiki reports that the pair are dead by then and an unfinished Wish is removed from Objectives. It also says Tacks may still be available at their location if you have not obtained it.
Where to find Crull and Benjin

How to get 10 Roach Guts
- Accept the Hunt Wish from Crull and Benjin.
- Hunt Muckroaches in Sinner’s Road and collect 10 Roach Guts.
- Return to Crull and Benjin and hand over the guts to complete the Wish and receive Tacks.
The walkthrough describes Muckroaches as common along Sinner’s Road and suggests the area near the Greymoor entrance as a convenient farming spot. What happens if you reach Act 3 first?
The Hollow Knight Wiki reports that Crull and Benjin are found dead in Act 3, and an unfinished Roach Guts Wish is removed from Objectives. That means the normal quest turn-in is no longer available. Separately, the wiki’s page for the pair says Tacks can be obtained at their location in Act 3 if you have not already acquired the tool, so missing the Wish does not necessarily make Tacks permanently unobtainable.
