When did Honkai: Star Rail come out?
Honkai: Star Rail launched globally on April 26, 2023. HoYoverse’s launch FAQ specified 10:00 a.m. UTC+8 for its initial release on PC, Android, and iOS. HoYoverse’s April 23, 2023 launch FAQ announced the date and time.
What kind of game is it?
HoYoverse describes Honkai: Star Rail as a “space fantasy RPG.” Its story follows a protagonist implanted with a Stellaron who travels between worlds aboard the Astral Express. The game combines turn-based combat with exploration and story-driven play; HoYoverse’s April 26, 2023 launch announcement also describes large maps with maze exploration. That description is the publisher’s framing, rather than an independent assessment.
Which platforms can you play it on?
The launch platforms were PC, Android, and iOS. HoYoverse also announced that the game was available through the Epic Games Store on launch day, April 26, 2023. PlayStation 5 came later: PlayStation lists October 10, 2023 as the PS5 release date.
