Aloy is officially described as an outcast from the Nora, and that status frames the journey at the center of Horizon Zero Dawn. But the official PlayStation pages available here do not define how Seekers, exiles, and outcasts differ under Nora custom. It would be misleading to present detailed rules for those roles as established fact without support from the game’s dialogue or other primary lore.
What the official sources establish
PlayStation’s store listing describes Aloy as an outcast from her tribe and presents her journey as a search into her past and destiny amid a catastrophic threat. The official game overview gives the wider setting: a world ruled by machines, where Aloy investigates its mysteries. Together, these sources establish the broad framing of her status and quest, not the Nora rules behind that status.

The Complete Edition listings also include a Nora Keeper Pack, underscoring the Nora’s presence in the game’s setting and presentation. That product detail does not explain the tribe’s social categories.
What remains unclear about Seekers, exiles, and outcasts
The official pages cited below do not establish who can designate a person a Seeker, exile, or outcast; what movement or community restrictions apply; whether special permission changes those restrictions; or what consequences follow for the individual or the Nora. Without primary in-game dialogue, datapoints, or official lore material supporting those details, a precise comparison would risk turning an inference into canon.

Which Complete Edition includes The Frozen Wilds?
The official US PlayStation listings describe platform-specific Complete Editions. The PS4 store listing says its edition includes the full game, The Frozen Wilds expansion, a digital art book, a PS4 dynamic theme, and bonus weapons, outfits, and resources. PlayStation’s PC page lists a PC Complete Edition with The Frozen Wilds, a Nora Keeper Pack, and a digital art book. Check the listing for your platform and region, since availability and included details can vary.

Is the board game a way to learn this lore?
PlayStation’s merchandise page lists Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game as a semi-cooperative tabletop game for one to four players. It is a separate product, not an equivalent way to learn the video game’s story or establish the Nora’s lore. The listing confirms that PlayStation features the product; it does not establish current stock.
