In Schedule I, using a bed lets your character sleep and move the game to the next day. The community wiki lists 6 PM as the earliest time you can sleep and says players can share one bed in multiplayer. Sleeping is also reported to save progress, but Steam lists a separate “Save Anytime” feature, so sleep is not established as the only way to save.
What a bed does
The Bed is a furniture item described in the community wiki as “A cozy single bed to slumber in.” Sleeping in it progresses the game to the next day. The wiki’s mechanics page says the clock pauses at 4:00 AM; it does not document exactly how the clock behaves throughout the rest of the night or what hour you wake up.

When you can sleep
The Bed entry says you cannot go to sleep before 6 PM. It does not clarify whether 6 PM is the earliest moment you can interact with the bed or the start of a broader sleep window, so treat it as the listed earliest time rather than a complete schedule.

How to use a bed
- Wait until at least 6 PM, the earliest time listed by the community wiki.
- Interact with a bed and choose to sleep when you are ready to advance to the next day.
The sources establish the sleep interaction and its day-advancing effect, but do not specify an exact wake-up time or establish that the bed is available at every property.

Can co-op players share one bed?
Yes, the community wiki says multiple players can share one bed in multiplayer. It does not explain whether every player must interact with it, whether sleeping advances time for the entire group, or whether players can make different sleep choices.
Does sleeping save your progress?
A loading-screen tip quoted by the community wiki says, “Your progress is automatically saved when you sleep.” That is evidence that sleep saves progress, not that it is required to save: Steam’s listing for Schedule I includes “Save Anytime” as a gameplay feature. The Steam listing describes the game as early access, and neither source explains the details of how those save options work.

Bed price and where to find it
The community wiki lists the Bed at $150 in-game and names Dan’s Hardware, Handy Hank’s, Oscar’s Store and Gas-Mart as places to buy it. These are wiki-listed details, not confirmed current-build values; the exact price and shop availability may differ in a later game version.
What is confirmed—and what is not
The bed’s basic purpose is straightforward: sleep to advance to the next day. The specific timing, multiplayer behavior and item details above come from community-wiki pages; the official Steam listing supplies general game context but does not document bed mechanics. Because the Bed page could not be checked directly and the game is in early access, confirm any detail that matters to your current playthrough in-game or in current developer patch notes.
