Class choice is part of preparing a team for an expedition. The game’s broader loop includes breeding cats, assigning classes, and sending them on adventures, and a getting-started guide describes equipping class collars before an adventure. The guide reports coverage of 13 collars as of its March 3, 2026 update. That is the guide’s coverage figure, not a verified official or permanent total. It says most other collars unlock through progression and Butch follow-ups, but the available references do not establish exact unlock steps for each collar.
What does Collarless mean?
Collarless is described as having no stat modifiers from a class collar and drawing abilities from a shared Collarless pool. It is therefore distinct from choosing one of the named class collars, which supplies its own modifiers and class-ability pool.

Does “collar” also mean equipment?
Yes. The word can refer either to the class-selection mechanic or to a neck-slot equipment item. For example, an item reference lists a Mage Collar as neck armor with INT +2.
