Deskrawl’s documented progression combines hero builds, gear, abilities, minions, town services and increasingly difficult Mythic Realms. The available official descriptions do not explain a prestige system or a reset that grants permanent bonuses, so players should not assume the game follows the usual idle-game prestige loop.
How Deskrawl’s progression is described
The official Steam store listing presents progression as several connected ways to build power and pursue tougher challenges. It does not provide a complete progression chart, unlock sequence or set of costs.
Build a hero with gear and abilities
Players farm loot and build heroes using equipment, minions and abilities. The store description establishes these as core parts of character development, but does not specify a full skill tree, gear-stat progression or upgrade path.
Capture minions for utility and combat support
Enemies, including bosses, can be captured. The listing describes minions as helpers that haul loot and support combat with passive bonuses or special abilities, giving them roles beyond simply adding damage.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Grow the town to unlock services
Stockpiled resources can grow the town and unlock NPCs and services. Those services create additional ways to increase power, though the listing does not give a precise building order, resource cost or complete unlock sequence.
Take on Mythic Realms
Mythic Realms are presented as ultimate challenges, including timed trials and escalating difficulty tiers. Greater depth brings better rewards, linking endgame challenge to the broader pursuit of stronger builds.

Trade through the Steam Market
The store listing says players can trade equipment, materials and minions through the Steam Market. That describes an in-game economy feature; it is not evidence of a reliable real-money profit strategy.
Does Deskrawl have prestige or a reset-for-bonuses system?
The consulted official Steam listing and developer announcements do not describe prestige, a prestige currency or a reset that awards permanent bonuses. A third-party progression reference discusses ordinary leveling, ability ranks, equipment upgrades and talent refunds, but does not establish whether prestige exists in the current full release.

That gap is not proof that prestige is absent. The available material does not establish what a reset would clear, what it would preserve or whether any permanent bonus is awarded. Check the current full-release build or a direct developer explanation before relying on a particular prestige rule.

First Day Games announced a full release for September 28, 2026, after a planned demo shutdown on September 26. The official announcement page is the relevant place to check dated release and patch context; advice written for the demo should not automatically be treated as accurate for the full release. An official patch result mentions a correction to paragon-level experience and a restriction on Online Mode licenses, but does not document prestige rules.
