Sign in to Twitch, open your profile menu, choose Drops or Drops & Rewards, and open Inventory. Your active campaign cards show viewing progress and available claims. While watching a participating channel, the same profile menu provides a quick progress view.
Check progress in your Drops inventory
- Sign in to the Twitch account you are using for the campaign.
- Open your profile menu.
- Select Drops or Drops & Rewards. Twitch’s wording can differ between the website, Android app and iOS app.
- Open the Inventory tab or inventory page.
- Find the active campaign. Its card shows the reward requirement, progress bar, completed rewards and any available Claim button.
The inventory is also where you can review claimed or unclaimed rewards, account-linking information and campaign details. Twitch documents this route in its Drops guide.
See progress while watching a stream
Open a channel participating in the relevant campaign, then open your profile menu and select Drops. Twitch shows the progress for the active reward being tracked. Look for a Drops Enabled label or Drops information near chat before assuming that viewing will count.
The channel must be eligible for that specific campaign, the campaign must be active, and you must be signed in. Campaign dates, game category, region and other requirements are campaign-specific, so open the campaign details instead of relying on a generic viewing-time assumption.

When the bar reaches 100%
A notification may appear near chat when a reward is complete, but reaching 100% does not always deliver it automatically. Select Claim in the notification or in the inventory. If the notification disappears, return to the campaign card and claim it there while the campaign remains active.
Sequential rewards
Some campaigns unlock rewards in order. You may need to complete and claim the earlier reward before the next reward can begin accumulating progress. A later card can therefore remain locked even while you are watching an eligible stream.
Campaign deadlines
Campaign-specific expiration rules apply. Treat the inventory card and its campaign information as the authoritative indication of whether a completed reward is still claimable.

Can you switch channels?
Yes. You can move between participating channels in the same campaign and keep earning progress. Twitch counts viewing progress for only one channel at a time; opening several eligible streams does not multiply or accelerate the rate. Keep the currently watched channel eligible for the campaign you are tracking.

Work through these checks in order:
- Signed-in account: Confirm Twitch shows you as logged in to the account that should receive the reward.
- Eligible channel: Check for the Drops Enabled label and verify that the channel is participating in the same campaign.
- Correct game and dates: Confirm the stream’s category and that the campaign is currently running.
- One active viewing source: Multiple simultaneous channels do not stack progress.
- Earlier reward: Claim any completed prerequisite in the inventory before expecting the next bar to advance.
- Supported platform: Use a desktop or mobile browser if the feature is absent in a console or TV app.
- Stale display: Refresh the inventory, sign out and back in, or check the same account in a desktop or mobile browser.
Do not assume that a muted, background or otherwise unattended stream will always qualify. The campaign’s own requirements and Twitch’s tracking behavior control whether viewing is credited.
Why is the reward missing from the game?
Twitch completion and game delivery are separate steps. First verify in Twitch that the Drop is marked claimed. Then identify which delivery method the campaign uses.

Automatic in-game reward
- Claim the Drop in Twitch.
- Confirm Twitch is linked to the correct game account; many campaigns require this connection for delivery, although the developer may allow linking after claiming.
- Launch or refresh the game and allow for any campaign-specific processing time.
- If the item remains missing, contact the game developer or promotional partner, which controls final in-game delivery.
Code-based reward
- Complete the viewing requirement and claim the reward in Twitch inventory.
- Reveal or copy the code.
- Redeem it on the partner’s official website or app using the instructions attached to the campaign.
- Contact the partner for an invalid, expired or already-used code, or for an item missing after successful redemption.
Twitch’s explanation of the distinction between automatic and code-based rewards is available in its code-based Drops guide. Twitch support handles obtaining and claiming the Twitch reward; the partner handles external redemption and post-redemption delivery.
Drops are not Channel Points
Twitch Drops are campaign rewards tied to participating games and channels. Channel Points are a separate channel loyalty system. If you are looking for a game-campaign viewing bar, check Drops or Drops & Rewards, not the Channel Points menu.

The Drops campaign listing can show active and upcoming campaigns, dates, associated games and reward requirements. Some older or “classic” Drops campaigns may not appear in the newer listing even when the campaign is still valid, so use the campaign’s own information and inventory card when available.

Supported devices and missing menus
Twitch’s current Drops documentation supports the newer Drops service on desktop browsers for PC and Mac and in the Android and iOS apps, with some reward-specific limitations on iOS. Twitch states that console, smart-TV and other TV apps are not currently compatible with obtaining and claiming these newer Drops. If the menu is missing there, open Twitch in a desktop or mobile browser instead. See the official Drops documentation for the current platform details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I check Twitch Drop progress on mobile?
Yes. The Android and iOS Twitch apps support the newer Drops service, although Twitch notes that some rewards may have iOS-specific limitations. A mobile browser is an alternative if the app does not show Inventory.
Can I watch two streams to earn progress faster?
No. Twitch credits progress for only one channel at a time. You may switch eligible channels, but simultaneous streams do not accelerate earning.

Do I have to claim a completed Drop immediately?
Not necessarily. If the campaign is still active, open Drops Inventory and claim the completed reward there, even if the chat notification was dismissed.
Does progress carry over after a campaign ends?
Do not assume it does. Campaign-specific deadlines and developer rules apply; the inventory and campaign details indicate whether a reward remains claimable.
What if the Drops page is missing?
Check that you are signed in, try a desktop or mobile browser, refresh or sign back in, and verify that the campaign is active. Console and TV apps may not support the newer Drops service.
