On PC, the usual path is to choose a game, download its free trial, and use Big Fish’s free Game Manager to install and launch it. You can then buy the game outright; joining Game Club is optional. On mobile, games are installed and purchases are handled through the relevant app store.
How to get and play a Big Fish game on PC
- Choose a game. Browse the Big Fish storefront for a title. Editions and prices vary, and listings can change. See the Big Fish storefront.
- Download the free trial. Big Fish presents trying a game before buying as its basic route; a subscription is not required. Read Big Fish’s new-player guide.
- Install and launch it with Game Manager. Big Fish says its free Game Manager downloads with the first game and handles installation, updates, and launching the library. This describes the company’s stated function, not an independent performance assessment.
- Buy the game if you want to continue. You can purchase a title outright, or consider Game Club for member pricing before checkout.
What Game Club includes—and when to consider it
Game Club is optional. Big Fish’s membership page in 2026 advertises a free first month followed by $6.99 per month, with 699 points monthly. It also advertises 15% back in points on purchases, daily $1 games, selected free Collector’s Editions through “The Catch,” and game discounts stated as 30–90%, depending on the offer. These are Big Fish’s advertised terms and promotions, not guaranteed savings; check the live page and checkout terms before joining.
Big Fish says points expire two years after they are earned, and claimed Catch games remain with the member after cancellation. The page says members can cancel through their account. Review the current terms before relying on these benefits, since offers and membership details may change. Check Big Fish Game Club’s current terms.
To decide whether membership makes sense, compare the recurring fee and the member price of the games you expect to buy with the outright prices you would otherwise pay. The better choice depends on your buying habits; the advertised discount range alone does not establish what you will save.

How Big Fish games work on mobile
Big Fish also publishes games for mobile platforms. Its developer materials describe Apple in-app purchases for free-to-play games and reference publishing on Google Play and the Apple App Store, with Android and iOS listed as platform options. That does not mean every Big Fish title is available on both systems. Mobile installation and purchase flows depend on the specific game and app store.
