That date is not a return schedule: Epic has not promised when a departed cosmetic will come back. Shop cosmetics are priced in V-Bucks, while cash-pack prices, regional totals and available top-up options can vary. Check the live listing and your platform’s purchase screen before spending.
When does the Fortnite Item Shop reset?
Epic removed the overall Shop refresh timer and shows the rotation time in each player’s time zone instead. As a result, a single reset hour quoted elsewhere may not be the right reference for your location. See Epic’s April 9, 2024 Shop and Locker changes notice for the stated change.
How long will an item stay in the shop?
Epic said planned departure dates would appear on individual cosmetic description pages beginning in late May 2024. Open the item’s current description to see its displayed date; the shop is a changing inventory, so an old screenshot may no longer match the live listing.
Does the departure date tell you when an item will return?
No. A planned rotation-out date indicates when the current listing is expected to leave, not when it may appear again. Epic’s notice does not establish a guaranteed recurrence schedule for any specific cosmetic.

How much does a Fortnite cosmetic cost?
The Shop displays cosmetic prices in V-Bucks. Prices differ by offer, and a bundle may show both its current discounted total and an original total. For a dated illustration of that display format, a shop snapshot showed a featured bundle at 2,400 V-Bucks beside an original total of 7,300; those figures describe that snapshot, not a standing price.
How to compare a bundle with separate items
- Compare the final V-Bucks charged with the standalone prices of items you actually want, where those prices are shown.
- Check the bundle’s item list so you know exactly what is included.
- Treat a displayed discount as arithmetic, not proof that the bundle is worthwhile for your budget or preferences.
- Check how much cash it would take to reach the needed balance using the current purchase screen for your region and platform.
Do not infer a cosmetic’s price from an old rarity color or tier. In its April 2024 notice, Epic said it was retiring the old Battle Royale-inspired cosmetic color tiers and names as a way to express quality; series such as Icon Series and Gaming Legends Series remained.

How much do V-Bucks cost?
Epic announced that new US-dollar pack prices would take effect on March 19, 2026. The announced tiers are:

Can you buy just the V-Bucks you need?
Epic’s September 11, 2025 notice introduced an exact-amount purchase option in 50-V-Buck increments. Its example: a player with 400 V-Bucks buying a 500-V-Buck item could purchase the additional 100. The announcement named Xbox, Nintendo, PC, Android, iPhones, iPads and Fortnite’s web Item Shop, and said availability would expand. This rollout can change, so use the option only if it appears in your purchase flow. Details are in Epic’s exact-amount purchasing notice.
