Roblox does not publish a standard approval time or guarantee for uploaded audio. Audio goes through a multi-step review before it appears, but Roblox does not say whether that takes minutes, hours, or days.
What happens after you upload audio?
Roblox says creator-uploaded audio automatically goes through a multi-step review before appearing on the platform. The review includes scanning audio for intellectual-property infringement. Content that is not flagged for removal may still receive human review, such as after a user reports it. Roblox does not publish how long these stages take or an audio-specific service target. Roblox’s Content Moderation guidance describes the process but gives no approval ETA.
Roblox’s statement that it may take action “within minutes” refers to responding to violations, not to approving uploaded audio. It is not an estimate for the audio review queue.
How to check an audio upload
You can upload audio through Roblox Studio or through Create in a web browser, then configure it after upload. Roblox’s Audio Files help article explains those routes but does not specify how often a pending status refreshes or when a pending upload should be considered stuck.

Check the asset’s displayed status in Roblox’s creator interface. If the interface shows a moderation notice or asks you to take action, follow the instructions there; contact Roblox Support if the status or notice leaves you unsure what to do. There is no published waiting period after which Roblox says every pending audio asset should be escalated.
Check rights and policy compliance
Roblox requires uploaded audio to meet its Community Standards, and its moderation guidance says audio is scanned for intellectual-property infringement. Before uploading music, make sure you own it or have the appropriate license, as Roblox explains on its licensed-music page. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee a particular review speed.

What to do if Roblox moderates the audio
If Roblox blocks or moderates an upload, read the notification: it explains the appeal options available for that case. Roblox says appeals may be submitted through Violations & Appeals or the Roblox Support Form, depending on the situation. For a content appeal through the support form, provide the account username, a brief reason for the appeal, the asset ID, and a link to the content. Roblox’s appeals guidance says appeals generally must be filed within 30 days; users in the European Union have six months to appeal an initial action.
An appeal does not guarantee that Roblox will reverse its decision. The appeals guidance also says duplicate appeals submitted after a review will not be reviewed, so use the route and instructions in the original notice.
