That is not a settled Warcraft chronology: other lore accounts give longer intervals, ranging from many hundreds of years to nearly 5,000.
What is the short answer?
The roughly 200-year figure refers to the draenei’s arrival on Draenor, associated in the Rise of the Horde account with the crash of Oshu’gun. It is best treated as one version of the timeline, not as an uncontested date. A Warcraft Wiki summary records several conflicting accounts, and the primary passages behind those figures are not directly established here: Warcraft Wiki’s draenei lore summary.
Why do other sources give different answers?
The same lore summary reports substantially different arrival intervals across Warcraft sources:

Does the thousands-of-years figure mean they arrived on Draenor then?
No. The much longer timespan often associated with the draenei concerns their flight from Argus, not necessarily their residence on Draenor. Blizzard’s official Patch 7.3 preview says Velen’s followers fled Argus with the naaru’s help and took the name draenei, meaning “exiled ones.” It describes that exodus as thousands of years ago, but does not give a precise date for their later arrival on Draenor.
