If you mean the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, one secondary-source list names six Alpha dragons: Red Death, Green Death, Foreverwing, Screaming Death, Bewilderbeast, and Fireworm Queen. That is not a confirmed franchise-wide total: another source says Toothless is the current Alpha by the epilogue of The Hidden World, yet its six-name list leaves him out.
Which six dragons appear on the list?
SplicedOnline’s February 18, 2025 article lists these six: Red Death, Green Death, Foreverwing, Screaming Death, Bewilderbeast, and Fireworm Queen. The page attributes the answer to the franchise’s makers but does not identify a primary source for that attribution, so the list should be treated as a secondary-source claim rather than an official count.

Does Toothless count as an Alpha?
Games Learning Society’s July 8, 2023 article describes Toothless as the current Alpha by the epilogue of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. However, the same article also repeats a six-name list that excludes Toothless. The two claims do not settle whether its list means dragons who have held Alpha status, a particular set of named dragons, or something else.

“Alpha” is presented in these sources as a leadership or command role, not a consistently defined species category. The pages also do not establish whether a count should include every Alpha ever shown, only the current leader, individual dragons or dragon types, or the films alone versus the broader franchise. A separate fan-oriented page gives a conflicting account of Bewilderbeasts and Toothless, but does not provide primary confirmation.
