The Last of Us Part II had sold through more than 10 million copies globally by spring 2022, according to Naughty Dog and PlayStation. That is the latest official lifetime milestone located here—not an exact total or a figure confirmed through 2026.

What “sold through” means here
Both announcements give thresholds, not exact totals: the game had sold more than 4 million copies by June 21, 2020, and more than 10 million globally by spring 2022. The 2022 figure is the later and larger official lifetime milestone found, but it does not establish how many copies have sold since then.

The announcements do not give a country-by-country breakdown or separate physical sales from digital sales. So the 10-million milestone should not be described as physical copies alone, or as an exact count.

The title is officially called The Last of Us Part II. PlayStation lists it as a PS4 game released on June 19, 2020. PlayStation’s game listing.
