Roblox players use the platform in more than 180 countries, according to Roblox. The company has not published an exact country count.
What does “more than 180 countries” mean?
Roblox’s latest located statement, published September 11, 2026, says players spent 29 billion hours on the platform in the preceding quarter across more than 180 countries. That describes the geographic reach of player activity; it is not a census of countries or a count of unique people.
Roblox’s fiscal 2025 annual report also describes its reach as over 180 countries. Neither statement supplies a precise total or a country-by-country breakdown.
How many people play Roblox?
Roblox reports activity using daily active users (DAUs), a measure based on registered accounts rather than a verified count of individual people. These figures provide context for the platform’s scale, but they are not interchangeable with the country-reach figure.

| Roblox figure | Period and meaning |
|---|---|
| 127 million average DAUs | Average daily active users across over 180 countries during the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025. |
| 123 million average DAUs | Average daily active users for the three months ended June 30, 2026. |
Roblox says one person can use multiple accounts, so DAUs do not measure unique individuals. The two DAU figures also cover different reporting periods and should not be read as a direct comparison of the number of people or countries playing.
How does Roblox assign users to a country?
For its DAU reporting, Roblox bases an account’s geographic location on the IP address associated with that account when it was initially registered. The company notes that this may not reflect where the user is when they access the platform.

What Roblox’s figures don’t tell us
- The exact number of countries where players use Roblox.
- How Roblox players are distributed from country to country.
- How many unique individuals play in each country.
So the most accurate answer is Roblox’s own lower-bound wording: players use the platform in more than 180 countries.
