There are 30 fleas to find in Hollow Knight: Silksong. You need 22 rescues and a visit to Pale Lake to move the caravan to Fleatopia, its final stop. Collect all 30 to receive the Egg of Flealia and unlock access to the Festival of the Flea in Act 3. The caravan also has earlier milestones at 5 and 12 fleas, and its later moves require story progress as well as the rescue count.
How many fleas do you need to reach the caravan’s final stop?
You need 22 rescued fleas to bring the caravan to Pale Lake and form Fleatopia, provided Hornet has visited Pale Lake. That is the final caravan move; it is not the same as completing the flea collection. Reaching 30 fleas earns the Egg of Flealia and access to the Festival of the Flea in Act 3. The flea reference and the caravan reference describe these milestones.
What does each flea milestone unlock?

The sources describe the 12-flea progression gate differently: the flea reference names defeating the Last Judge, while the caravan reference says the Grand Gate must be open. Do not rely on the count alone: satisfy the relevant story condition and check in with Mooshka after reaching a milestone.
Do named fleas count toward the 30?
Yes. The total includes Kratt, Vog, and the Huge Flea. Kratt and Vog count toward your overall total, but neither has to be found for the caravan to form Fleatopia at 22. The flea reference lists the named fleas, and the caravan reference notes the Fleatopia exception.

How can you find fleas you have missed?
If you have found Vog, she can mark flea locations still missing from your map in exchange for Rosaries. Use her service when you are unsure where to search next; it is a paid map aid, not an automatic completion of the collection. Details are listed in the caravan reference.
