For the same Roblox moderation action, you generally get one review: Roblox says a decision cannot be reviewed again after it has been reviewed, and duplicate appeals for that action will not be considered. Treat your first appeal as your only chance to explain the case clearly. Most appeals must be submitted within 30 days; users in the EU have six months to appeal an initial moderation action.
How many appeals are allowed for one moderation action?
Roblox’s rule is about repeat reviews of the same action, not a lifetime cap on appeals across an account. Once Roblox has reviewed a moderation action, it says it cannot review that action again. Duplicate appeals for the same action will not be reviewed. In other words, sending the same case repeatedly does not create another opportunity for reconsideration.
Roblox also says it may refuse appeal submissions that are repeatedly or egregiously misused. See its Terms of Use. The practical approach is to submit one complete, relevant appeal through the channel specified in the moderation notice.
Which appeal channel should you use?
Start with the moderation notification. It identifies the appeal option available for that violation. Roblox may direct eligible cases to Violations & Appeals or to the Roblox Support Form. If the affected item does not appear in Violations & Appeals, Roblox directs users to the Support Form. Follow the instructions in the notice rather than submitting through multiple routes.

Roblox’s appeal guidance describes what to include:
- For an account moderation: the account username and a brief statement explaining why you are appealing.
- For content moderation: the account username, a brief explanation, the asset ID, and a link to the content on Roblox.
Only the account owner may submit the appeal, and Roblox requires a valid email address associated with the account.

How long do you have to appeal?

These are different deadlines for different circumstances. If you are in the EU, Roblox states the six-month period for an appeal of an initial moderation action; otherwise, the general stated limit is 30 days. Check the notice and applicable regional information, and submit within the relevant period.
What happens during review—and what if the penalty has ended?
An appeal is a request for review, not a promise that Roblox will reverse the moderation. Roblox says it considers the severity of the violation, the reason given for appealing, and the user’s behavior on the platform. Its content moderation guidance also notes that an appeal may have limited practical effect if a time-limited consequence, such as a short timeout, has already ended.

EU options beyond Roblox’s appeal process
Roblox’s EU information describes access to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body for content moderation disputes. It also says EU users who reported illegal content through Roblox’s EU reporting form have a right to appeal Roblox’s decision concerning that report. That is distinct from appealing a moderation action taken against your own account or content; the applicable route depends on what decision you are challenging.
