This assumes the exact-amount option is available and that $25 is your pre-tax budget.
How the $25 V-Bucks calculation works
-
Buy the 2,400-V-Bucks pack for $22.99.
-
Use the remaining $2.01 for two exact-amount purchases of 50 V-Bucks at $0.99 each. That adds 100 V-Bucks and leaves $0.03.

|---|---|
| 800 | $8.99 |
| 2,400 | $22.99 |
| 4,500 | $36.99 |

What can change the final amount or cost?
Tax and checkout charges
The $24.97 calculation is before tax. If $25 is a strict checkout ceiling, applicable tax or other checkout charges may leave too little for both 50-V-Bucks increments—or affect what you can buy at all.
Region and purchase route
These figures are in U.S. dollars. Regional prices, available purchase options, and checkout totals can differ, so check the price shown for your account and location. The 2,500 total also depends on having access to exact-amount purchases.

Epic Rewards are credit, not extra V-Bucks
Epic says qualifying purchases made through the Epic Games Store or Epic payment system on PC, iOS, Android, and web earn 20% back in Epic Rewards, including V-Bucks purchases. That reward is Epic Rewards credit, not V-Bucks added to the immediate purchase. Eligibility depends on the payment route; the announcement does not establish that every checkout qualifies. See Epic’s pricing and Rewards announcement.

A gift card is a way to fund an account, not a guarantee of a particular V-Bucks quantity. Epic says Fortnite gift cards can be used for V-Bucks, Fortnite Crew, and packs; the amount of V-Bucks you receive depends on what you buy with the balance.
