Adrian “xelex” Vincze says his Counter-Strike identity is still taking shape: he wants to use his aim to push and play aggressively, even though some anchor positions demand patience. In an interview with HLTV published October 2, 2026, he described becoming more comfortable across maps while continuing to learn new positions.
What role is xelex developing at MOUZ?
Xelex describes himself as an aim-oriented player who would rather look for opportunities to push than wait passively. “I like to push as an anchor a lot, be more aggressive,” he told HLTV.
That preference does not mean he can play aggressively in every situation. As an anchor, he may need to hold a position and wait for opponents rather than take initiative. “I don’t really like to be passive that much, but some anchor positions force you to be.” His developing identity is therefore a balance: use his aim to create pressure when the position allows it, but respect the defensive responsibility when it does not.
How comfortable does he feel across the maps?
Xelex said he has grown more comfortable in new positions and no longer identifies a map where he feels uncomfortable: “There is not a single map that I would say I’m feeling uncomfortable.” That is his account of his own comfort, not an independent assessment of his performance on each map. He also described his experience on Dust2 personally; his comments do not establish a wider ranking of the map or a team-wide preference.

Feeling comfortable across maps is not the same as having finished learning them. Xelex said he is still getting used to new positions, so his confidence and ongoing adjustment can both be true: he does not currently feel out of place on a map, but he is still refining how he plays specific roles within them.
What did xelex say about MOUZ’s StarSeries Fall run?
HLTV’s interview came ahead of MOUZ’s ESL Pro League campaign in Katowice and after the team’s disappointing StarSeries Fall run. MOUZ lost its opener to NRG and exited early. Xelex said the team had not shown up as it should have, but he could not identify a definite explanation: “I’m not exactly sure what the issue was.”

He floated time off and confidence as possible factors, not confirmed causes. He also said the team reset and spoke openly afterward. Those comments describe how he and the team reflected on the result; they do not establish why the run went badly.

Looking back on his first months competing at tier one, xelex said he had learned a lot and was managing frustration better. He also stressed that he still has plenty to learn. That self-assessment fits the picture he gave of his role: a player becoming more settled and comfortable, without claiming that his positions or identity are fully worked out.
