Your actual bill can vary with the PC’s workload, components, settings, and other household consumption. To estimate the stream’s incremental cost, use the tariff applicable to your next units, including the relevant consumption slab, rather than assuming every unit is billed at a single headline rate. Check your latest bill or current utility tariff for that marginal rate.
Separate the PC purchase from recurring costs
The electricity formula estimates the operating cost of a machine you already own. It does not include buying a gaming PC, repairs, or replacement parts. Also account for your internet connection: the stream needs a stable upload connection, and a plan’s data limits or additional charges may matter. The available figures do not establish an India-wide broadband cost. Check your plan’s terms and test the upload connection you will actually use.
Decide what the PC will do
“Gaming highlights stream” can mean either a live game broadcast or a loop of pre-rendered highlights. A live game adds the workload of running the game; a prepared video loop does not require the game itself to be running. Set the stream quality to match upload capacity
YouTube’s official live encoder guidance recommends these H.264 ingestion bitrates. They are encoder recommendations, not minimum broadband-plan speeds or guarantees of a stable stream.

The same YouTube guidance lists lower recommended values for some AV1 or H.265 outputs, including 12 Mbps for 1080p60 and 6 Mbps for 720p60. YouTube supports H.264, H.265 (HEVC), and AV1 video over RTMP/RTMPS, up to 60 fps. Its recommendations include a two-second keyframe interval and say not to exceed four seconds.
