US PlayStation Plus renewal prices
Sony’s US membership page lists these standard prices. They are not a guaranteed quote for every subscriber: the Store region, account, plan, billing term, and any applicable offer can affect the amount shown.

These are the prices shown on Sony’s US PlayStation Plus plans page when checked in 2026. The annual total is lower than paying the listed monthly price for 12 months, but compare the upfront cost with how long you expect to use the membership. Sony’s page describes the annual Essential price as 39% off 12 months versus monthly billing and Premium as 33% off; these are Sony’s own comparisons and the page’s presentation may change.
Why your next renewal may differ from your last payment
A prior payment does not guarantee the same amount next time. Sony’s US Usage Terms say the recurring fee is charged automatically at the then-current regular PlayStation Store price and at the frequency chosen at purchase, until the subscription is canceled. The membership tier determines which benefits are included: Essential covers core benefits such as online multiplayer and monthly games; Extra adds the Game Catalog; Premium adds benefits such as the Classics Catalog, trials, and cloud streaming. How to check your exact next charge and payment date
Check the subscription attached to your own account rather than relying on a general price list. Sony says subscription details, including the payment date, are available in Account Management, on PS5 or PS4, and in the PlayStation App.

How to stop the next recurring payment
In the subscription settings, select PlayStation Plus and turn off auto-renewal or cancel the subscription, depending on the platform’s wording. Sony says cancellation stops future payments, while access continues until the end of the period already paid. Follow the relevant device instructions in Sony’s cancellation guide.

PlayStation Store wallet funds can be used toward a subscription renewal. If there is not enough in the wallet, Sony may charge the approved default payment method for the shortfall. A PlayStation Plus membership voucher is different from a wallet gift card: the membership voucher supplies the plan and term printed on it. After that initial period, membership may continue at a different payment frequency. Review the voucher’s region and terms before redeeming it; Sony explains this in its PS Plus vouchers guide.
