On the TBC experience curve, going from exactly level 60 to level 70 takes 6,762,300 XP. That is the sum of the ten level-up requirements from 60→61 through 69→70—not the amount needed for one level.
XP required for each level from 60 to 70
The table lists the XP needed to reach the next level. These are individual level-up amounts, not cumulative totals.
| Level-up | XP needed |
|---|---|
| 60→61 | 494,000 |
| 61→62 | 574,700 |
| 62→63 | 614,400 |
| 63→64 | 650,300 |
| 64→65 | 682,300 |
| 65→66 | 710,200 |
| 66→67 | 734,100 |
| 67→68 | 753,700 |
| 68→69 | 768,900 |
| 69→70 | 779,700 |
Adding those ten requirements gives 6,762,300 XP. The final 69→70 level-up alone takes 779,700 XP; it is not the full amount for the 60–70 journey.
Which version of WoW does this total apply to?
This is the TBC experience curve, not a universal World of Warcraft figure. Blizzard lists Anniversary Classic as an active mode that includes Burning Crusade periods (Blizzard’s current game modes). The cited TBC leveling guide describes Outland leveling with a level 70 cap (TBC Classic leveling guide). Check the relevant XP table before applying this total to retail WoW or another Classic version.

Where levels 60–70 fit in TBC leveling
The cited TBC guide places this stretch across Outland zones, with overlapping level ranges: Hellfire Peninsula (58–62), Zangarmarsh (61–64), Terokkar Forest (62–66), Nagrand (64–66), Blade’s Edge Mountains (65–68), and Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley (67–70). These ranges are guide recommendations, not extra XP requirements.
XP is not the same as time played
The 6,762,300 figure tells you how much experience to earn, not how many hours leveling will take. The guide characterizes questing as flexible, dungeon leveling as dependent on having a reliable group, and grinding as an alternative between quests or zones. Your route and group availability affect how quickly you earn the required XP.
