Logitech labels the G920/G29 Driving Force system as 2.3 Nm and specifies dual-motor force feedback. That is the clearest published strength figure for the G920, but Logitech does not state how it measures torque or whether 2.3 Nm is peak or sustained output. Treat it as the manufacturer’s specification, not an independently verified test result.
What Logitech’s 2.3 Nm figure means
Logitech’s product pages identify the G920/G29 system with a “2.3 Nm Racing System” label. The pages do not explain the measurement method, define peak versus sustained torque, or provide a numeric comparison with other wheels. The figure therefore establishes what Logitech publishes, but by itself does not settle how strong the wheel will feel or how it compares in a controlled test.
Logitech lists dual-motor force feedback and a gear-driven design with helical gearing and anti-backlash. The company describes the gearing as intended to provide smooth, quiet steering; that is a manufacturer design claim, not an independent noise or performance measurement. Logitech G’s G920/G29 specifications and its product description are the sources for these details.
What the force feedback is meant to communicate
Logitech says the dual motors can convey tire slip and terrain changes. Its product description also lists understeer, oversteer and weight shifts among the effects the wheel can communicate. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions of the system’s intended feedback; what you feel depends on how a particular game implements force feedback.

- 900-Degree Rotation: Lock-to-lock rotation of the Driving Force means you can turn the wheel around two and a half times, hand over hand on wide turns - just like a real F1 race car
- Up Your Game: Take your racing simulation to the next level with Driving Force accessories like the Driving Force Shifter or desk and rig mounts
Rotation, platforms and the shifter
Logitech lists 900 degrees of lock-to-lock rotation. Its combined product listing identifies the G920 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, while the G29 is the PlayStation-oriented sibling. Logitech also references the Driving Force Shifter as an accessory. The shifter is a separate setup component and does not increase the wheel’s force-feedback strength. Check game and platform support for your specific setup before buying.
Is the G920 force feedback strong enough?
The published specification cannot answer that for every player. The G920 has a manufacturer-labeled 2.3 Nm dual-motor, gear-driven feedback system, but the cited Logitech pages do not give a measurement basis or a numeric comparison with other wheels. There is no independent measurement established here. Whether it feels sufficient is a personal judgment shaped by the game and your preferences, rather than something the specification alone can prove.

- REALISTIC RACING SIMULATION DUO: Feel what is like to drive a real race car with G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel & Pedals and Driving Force Shifter
- PAIRED FOR PRECISION: Take full control of the race with G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel & Pedals and Driving Force Shifter
- PRECISE CONTROL: Helical transmission gears reduce noise and vibration with anti-backlash keeping wheel and pedals tight. The six-speed “H” shifter helps you execute smooth, accurate gear transitions
- FORCE FEEDBACK: The dual motor force-feedback realistically simulates the feel of tires on a turn, understeer, oversteer, drifting and more
- PREMIUM BUILD: Look, feel and durability of a real race car wheel, pedals and shifter. Wheel cover, knob and boot are covered in high-quality, hand-stitched leather with a solid steel gear shaft and polished metal pedals
For a meaningful comparison with another wheel, look for the maker’s torque figure and its measurement basis, then consider the drive mechanism, game and platform compatibility, and your own preference for feedback. A torque number without a stated measurement method may not support a like-for-like comparison.
