FLiNG’s “Dragon Quest Builders 2 Trainer” lists 13 hotkey-driven options for the PC game, but its compatibility statement is dated. The page names versions v1.7.1 through v1.7.3a+, with a last-updated date of May 6, 2021. That is a claim made on the trainer page, not proof that the utility works with every current build, storefront, save or online mode.
The utility is separate from Dragon Quest Builders 2 itself. Square Enix’s game is a block-building RPG with a single-player campaign and an online building mode for up to four players; the trainer is an unofficial PC tool that changes selected gameplay values. A physical PS4 copy is a purchase of the game, not a PC trainer.

What the Dragon Quest Builders 2 trainer actually is
FLiNG labels the download “Dragon Quest Builders 2 Trainer” and advertises “13 Options.” The controls are split between the number row and three function keys. The listed version range is v1.7.1–v1.7.3a+, and the page says it was last updated on May 6, 2021. Because that date is several years old, treat the range as a historical compatibility claim. It does not establish support for every current PC installation, launcher, regional build or storefront.

Square Enix describes it as a block-building RPG built around gathering, crafting, cooking, construction, farming and combat. Its campaign is single-player, while the separate online building mode supports up to four players. The trainer and the game should therefore be considered two different products with different platform and compatibility questions.

What the listing does and does not prove
- It proves that FLiNG listed 13 functions and assigned the hotkeys shown below.
- It records a stated game-version range and update date.
- It does not prove that the trainer is currently maintained.
- It does not prove that it works with every PC storefront or Windows build.
- It does not establish that using it is safe, malware-free, or suitable for online play.
- User comments on the page are individual reports, not an authoritative compatibility matrix.
No independent hands-on test is available to establish present-day operation. Compare your installed build and storefront with the dated information on the source page before treating any option as usable.
Every listed option and its key
The table reproduces the option names and bindings shown by FLiNG. “Num” refers to the numeric keypad keys, not necessarily the number row above the letters. On compact keyboards, you may need a Num Lock setting or an external keypad; the page itself does not document alternate bindings.
| Key | Option | What it is intended to change |
|---|---|---|
| Num 1 | Infinite Health | Prevents the player’s health value from falling, according to the option label. |
| Num 2 | No Hunger/100% Fullness | Keeps the hunger or fullness value at its maximum state. |
| Num 3 | Infinite Stamina | Maintains stamina rather than allowing normal depletion. |
| Num 4 | Instant Cooking | Removes or shortens the normal cooking wait, as implied by the label. |
| Num 5 | Infinite Items | Sets items in the item bar to 900; FLiNG specifically recommends discarding unwanted items. |
| Num 6 | Ignore Crafting Requirements | Allows crafting without having the required materials available. |
| Num 7 | Infinite Exp | Applies when experience is gained, according to FLiNG’s note. |
| Num 8 | Set Game Speed | Changes the game-speed value rather than a character statistic. |
| Num 9 | Super Jump | Modifies jump height or jump capability. |
| Num 0 | Super Damage/One Hit Kill | Raises outgoing damage to produce a one-hit-kill effect in supported situations. |
| F1 | Exp Multiplier | Multiplies experience gained instead of simply holding it at an unlimited value. |
| F2 | Damage Multiplier | Multiplies damage dealt. |
| F3 | Pickup Item Multiplier | Multiplies the quantity received when picking up items. |
The page gives no independent measurement for multiplier values, no guarantee that every enemy or activity is affected, and no promise that options can be combined safely. Consider the labels a description of intended behavior, not a technical specification or test result.
The two options that need the most care
Infinite Items (Num 5)
FLiNG says this option sets item-bar items to 900. That is not the same as a modest inventory increase: activating it can leave a stack far larger than a normal playthrough would create. The page suggests throwing away items you do not want. Decide what you intend to keep before enabling the option, and inspect the bar afterward rather than assuming that every slot will remain unchanged.

Because the figure is a trainer-page instruction, not an independently tested result, do not infer that storage chests, quest counters, recipe unlocks or other inventory systems will all behave identically. The documented claim is specifically about items in the item bar.
Ignore Crafting Requirements (Num 6)
The trainer page says this option permits crafting without the required materials, but materials are still consumed when they are available. It also warns that the switch may affect other behavior, including cooking or picking up items, and recommends using it only while crafting. That makes it a poor choice for leaving enabled throughout an entire session.
- Reach the crafting activity you want to perform.
- Enable the option immediately before crafting.
- Craft the item or items you need.
- Disable the option after the crafting action, before cooking, collecting pickups or moving to another system.
- Check your inventory and recipe result in the normal game interface.
This sequence follows the page’s stated limitation; it is not a guarantee that side effects cannot occur. If a recipe, pickup or cooking action behaves unexpectedly, turn the option off and reload a save made before the affected action.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsInfinite experience versus experience multiplier
These are separate controls. Infinite Exp is described as taking effect when experience is gained. Exp Multiplier changes the amount awarded through a multiplier. The listing does not state the multiplier’s numerical range, whether either option affects every source of experience, or how they interact when enabled together.

- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.

For a controlled experiment in your own save, use one experience option at a time, perform a single action that normally grants experience, and read the resulting total in the game interface. Keep a backup save so that an unexpected level, unlock or progression change can be reversed. Do not assume that a displayed level-up proves every progression system has updated correctly.
Combat, movement and time controls
Health and damage
Infinite Health (Num 1) is a defensive toggle. Super Damage/One Hit Kill (Num 0) and Damage Multiplier (F2) are offensive controls. The listing does not explain how they handle scripted fights, environmental damage, bosses, allies or objects that are not ordinary enemies. If a battle is story-critical, save before enabling a combat option and turn it off after the encounter rather than keeping it active through unrelated activities.
Stamina, hunger and jumping
No Hunger/100% Fullness (Num 2) and Infinite Stamina (Num 3) target survival-style resource management. Super Jump (Num 9) changes movement. The page provides no height limit, fall-damage behavior or compatibility note for every island and building layout. High jumps can bypass intended routes or place the character outside a safe path, so use a save you can restore when exploring unfinished areas.
Set Game Speed (Num 8)
Changing game speed can alter the timing of movement, combat, cooking or scripted events. FLiNG does not publish the available speed values or explain how to return to the default. Record the normal setting before experimenting, and restore it before entering a sequence where timing matters. If menus, animations or controls appear out of sync, disable the option and restart the game rather than continuing to save over the same file.

How to judge compatibility before you try it
Use the following checklist instead of treating “v1.7.3a+” as a universal guarantee:
- Identify the exact game version shown by your installation or launcher.
- Identify the PC storefront and edition supplying that build.
- Compare both details with FLiNG’s version notes, including the separate Windows Store and v1.7.3 update notes mentioned on the page.
- Check the trainer source for newer information than the May 6, 2021 entry.
- Read recent reports as anecdotes only; a single success or error does not define support for every configuration.
- Back up saves before enabling any option that changes inventory, progression, combat or crafting.
If the game has been updated beyond the stated range, the safest conclusion is “compatibility unknown,” not “compatible because the page says plus.” A mismatch can produce an error, do nothing, or alter data in an unintended way; the available evidence does not establish which outcome will occur for a particular build.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.PC trainer versus PS4 game edition
Square Enix lists a physical PS4 Standard Edition as well as digital editions for other platforms. A search for “Dragon Quest Builders 2 PS4” can help someone find the underlying game, but that disc is not a physical trainer and cannot be described as a PC utility. A trainer listing aimed at a PC executable should not be purchased or expected to work with a PS4 copy.
Recommended Free Tools
Choose the edition for the platform on which you intend to play the game. If your goal is simply to play the campaign or the four-player online building mode, you need the game itself. If your goal is to alter single-player values on a compatible PC installation, you are considering a separate utility whose current support is unverified.
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
Single-player and online-building considerations
The game’s online building mode supports up to four players, but the trainer page does not confirm co-op support. A reader question about co-op appears on the page; it is a question, not an answer or a compatibility statement. Do not infer that any option works in online sessions, that other players will see altered values, or that use is permitted by the game’s online rules.
Keep trainer experiments to situations where you understand the consequences, and avoid presenting an unverified utility as an online feature. The evidence supports describing the game’s online mode and the trainer’s unknown status separately.
What is historically known about the game
In an August 20, 2019 announcement about the game’s final free content update, Square Enix said that more than 1.1 million copies had shipped or been downloaded. That is a historical figure tied to that announcement, not a current sales total. It helps establish the game’s reach but says nothing about trainer maintenance or present compatibility.

Use the listing as a reference when
- Your PC build matches the page’s stated range and you have confirmed the storefront.
- You want a clearly named single-player convenience option, such as stamina or hunger control.
- You are prepared to test one option at a time with a backed-up save.
Stop and investigate when
- The installed version is newer or otherwise different from the dated range.
- The game launches but hotkeys have no effect.
- Inventory, crafting, cooking or pickups change unexpectedly.
- You are considering use in the online building mode.
- You cannot restore the game’s normal behavior after disabling an option.
In those cases, return to an earlier save, disable every option, restart the game and consult the trainer source for current version information. There is no evidence here that a particular fix, storefront workaround or safety assessment applies universally.
Bottom line
FLiNG’s Dragon Quest Builders 2 listing is a 13-option PC trainer reference with Num 1–Num 0 controls for ten gameplay changes and F1–F3 for three multipliers. Its documented range, v1.7.1–v1.7.3a+, and May 6, 2021 update date are historical page claims. The most important cautions are the 900-item effect, the crafting option’s possible spillover into cooking and pickups, and the absence of verified current, storefront-specific or co-op support. Treat the game purchase and the trainer as separate products, back up saves, and verify your exact build before experimenting.
