The Thank You update is free. To reach its new area, Verso’s Drafts, progress to Act 3, unlock Esquie’s flight and diving abilities, then enter the portal at the toy-covered landmark east of Lumiere. How to find and enter Verso’s Drafts
- Install the Thank You update. Sandfall Interactive announced a free rollout across platforms and regions on December 12, 2025. PlayStation Blog likewise described it as available at no additional cost. PlayStation Blog’s announcement and Sandfall Interactive’s announcement confirm the free release; the official sources do not describe a separate purchase requirement.
- Reach Act 3 and unlock Esquie’s flight. Flight lets you return to Lumiere. These progression requirements are reported in PC Gamer’s Verso’s Drafts guide.
- Unlock Esquie’s diving ability. PC Gamer says this requires reaching relationship level 6 with Esquie.
- Look east of Lumiere on the world map. Find the landmark with a rock covered in children’s toys, then use Esquie’s diving ability to enter the portal there. It leads to Verso’s Drafts.
The official update announcements confirm Verso’s Drafts and the free release, but do not give this route or its prerequisites. Those access details are attributed to PC Gamer’s guide.

What the Thank You update adds
Verso’s Drafts
Sandfall CEO and Creative Director Guillaume Broche describes Verso’s Drafts as a new level with fresh environments, battles, and story material connected to young Verso. The area is the update’s new playable environment.
Equipment, customization, and endgame content
PlayStation Blog lists 13 new weapons, 16 additional Luminas, costumes and hairstyles, and new late-game boss battles in the Endless Tower. Xbox Wire also highlights the new area, endgame bosses, Photo Mode, costumes, and haircuts.

Photo Mode, languages, and music
PlayStation Blog reports that Photo Mode includes 33 filters and 10 customizable lights. It also lists seven added text localizations, bringing the total to 19 supported text languages. New music was added for Verso’s Drafts, with Lorien Testard as composer. PlayStation Blog’s update details and Xbox Wire’s announcement describe the additions.

Check the story and ability requirements first: the reported route depends on reaching Act 3, having Esquie’s flight to return to Lumiere, and unlocking diving at relationship level 6. Then search east of Lumiere for the toy-covered landmark and portal. Official sources reviewed do not establish platform-specific or save-file exceptions, and they do not document separate troubleshooting steps, so identical prompts or save behavior across every setup cannot be assumed.
