Adjust stick response on the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro through its companion app: connect the controller to a PC or Mac, select Wired, choose PS5 or PS4, and switch to Advanced mode. Nacon’s documented dead-zone option is FPS Pro, which disables a stick’s dead zone but can expose drift. Make profile changes in the app and exit it before disconnecting the controller so they save.
Set up the controller and companion app

Download and install the official Revolution 5 Pro companion app from Nacon’s product support and downloads page.

Connect the controller to a PC or Mac. Set its Mode switch to Wired, set Platform to PS5 or PS4, and set the Advanced/Classic switch to Advanced.

Open the app and follow its on-screen instructions to customize an Advanced profile.

When finished, exit the app before turning off or disconnecting the controller. Nacon says changes will not save if the controller is disconnected or turned off before the app is exited. See Nacon’s profile customization instructions.
Adjust stick response in an Advanced profile
Use the controls shown in the current companion app to tune your profile, making small changes and checking the result in the game you play. The official material cited here does not specify exact sensitivity or dead-zone slider names, numeric ranges, or recommended values. Don’t assume a particular control or number unless it is visible in your app or documented in a current official manual.

There is no universally best response setting established by Nacon’s published guidance. A setting that feels suitable depends on the game and the individual stick. Change one setting at a time where possible, then test in-game before making another adjustment; this makes it easier to identify which change caused an unwanted response.
Understand the FPS Pro dead-zone option
Nacon identifies FPS Pro as the dead-zone-related option: it deactivates the joystick dead zone. With less dead-zone filtering, a stick that does not return exactly to center may register movement as drift. Nacon advises against activating FPS Pro on both joysticks at once. Try FPS Pro on one stick and check whether the game registers movement or aim while the stick is at rest. If it drifts, turn the option off for that stick and retest. The behavior is not guaranteed to be identical across controllers or games.
Choose a starting profile
The controller has four preloaded Advanced profiles. Nacon describes their intended stick responses as follows; these are manufacturer descriptions, not independent performance tests or guarantees.

To switch among the saved profiles, keep the controller in Advanced mode and press the Profile button. Nacon’s support steps describe this process.

First check whether FPS Pro is enabled on the affected stick; disabling its dead zone can reveal movement when the stick does not return exactly to center. If drift remains, Nacon’s support article notes that a previously reported Y-axis inversion issue that caused drift was resolved several months before the article’s June 11, 2026 update, and advises keeping the controller firmware up to date. The cited support material does not state a current firmware version, so use Nacon’s current support and downloads page for official firmware instructions rather than relying on an unverified version or procedure.
