Curseblade Labirith is an optional boss at the end of Bonny Gaol, south of Bonny Village in Scadu Altus. Its black mist makes it disappear, so listen for the cue before it returns and dodge as it reappears. When Labirith is visible, use spacing to avoid its short-range attacks, then punish openings; a spirit ash can provide extra support.
Where to find Curseblade Labirith
Labirith waits at the end of Bonny Gaol, south of Bonny Village. Push Square lists a reward of 100,000 runes and the Curseblade Meera item drop. Its guide recommends level 157, but that is a guide recommendation, not a mandatory requirement. Push Square’s boss guide
How to handle the black mist
Labirith covers the arena in darkness and vanishes. EIP Gaming says it reappears shortly before attacking; listen for the return cue and dodge when you hear it. This gives you a response even when you cannot see where the boss is. EIP Gaming’s boss guide
Push Square estimates that the darkness lasts roughly 30–45 seconds, but this is not a guaranteed timer: Labirith can cover the arena again. Rather than wait for an exact duration, keep moving and react to the cue. Push Square’s guide to the encounter

If you lose track of Labirith
- Listen: Dodge when you hear the sound cue that signals Labirith’s return.
- Watch for sparks: Weapon impacts on the floor may show where it is striking and help you estimate its position.
- Keep moving: Sprinting and jumping around the arena can help you avoid attacks until the mist clears.
The sparks are a possible visual clue, not a guaranteed way to track or hit the boss. Avoid committing to an attack just because you think you have pinpointed its location. EIP Gaming and Push Square
How to punish Labirith when it is visible
The guides describe most of Labirith’s melee reach as short. Back away to avoid many attacks, or use a longer-reach weapon to strike from farther out. EIP Gaming also characterizes the boss as having poor poise, so sustained pressure when it is safe to attack can interrupt it or create a stance-break opportunity. Do not treat that as a reason to keep attacking through every move.
Four-slash combo
EIP Gaming describes a four-slash sequence with limited range. Its recommendation is to dodge away from the early slashes, then dodge into the final strike. If you are uncertain about the timing, prioritize getting clear rather than forcing a punish.
Overhead attacks
Labirith’s overhead attacks can be dodged, parried, or blocked, according to EIP Gaming. If you avoid or defend against one, look for the opening afterward to land a hit before resetting your spacing.

Should you summon?
Spirit ashes are available for this fight, and EIP Gaming recommends using the initial disappearance window to summon or apply buffs. A summon can draw Labirith’s attention and help shorten the encounter, but it is optional; the guides do not identify a required summon or build.

If you have not reached the Shadow Realm, PlayStation says you must first defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood. This is an expansion-entry prerequisite, not a special requirement for Labirith.
Scadutree Fragments improve your attack power and damage negation in the Shadow Realm, while Revered Spirit Ashes improve summons there. These are general expansion progression systems rather than Labirith-specific counters. PlayStation Blog’s expansion tips
