To beat Jean Loo, pass his rhyme and flow tests, then enter the final battle with enough SPECS points to unlock strong responses. The listed winning routes include Poise 70 plus Empathy 60, or Smarts 60 for the final three bars; choose the response that matches each bar and your available stats. If you want Jean Loo’s Love ending, refuse his offer of one free mistake and win fairly.
How to find Jean Loo and start the battles
Jean Loo is in either bathroom. Aim the Dateviator at a toilet, toilet paper, or plunger to interact with him. His route moves through a rhyme test, a flow test, and a final “crap battle”—his pun on “cool rap.”

Pass the rhyme test
The first test asks you to rhyme with “Jack.” The listed sequence is “Jack,” “Back,” “Sack,” “Shack,” then “Smack!” or “Whack!”
Pass the flow test
The next test focuses on flow and uses the theme of disappointment. The available route guidance identifies the test but does not provide a complete line-by-line answer sequence, so follow the prompts shown in your game rather than relying on an unverified script.

Prepare for Jean Loo’s final battle
The final battle gates dialogue responses behind SPECS stats. You do not need to unlock every option: aim for a viable combination, then select the matching response for the bar you are answering.

The first bar has no stat requirement. These are threshold combinations, not a guaranteed one-build answer key: the correct response depends on which choices your stats have unlocked and which bar you are facing. The available route details do not establish every final-battle line, so do not assume a complete fixed sequence.

If your SPECS are too low
When Jean Loo offers a chance to leave and return before the final battle, take it and build your stats first. His warning that the battle requires substantial SPECS is useful preparation guidance.
Recover from mistakes and avoid Hate
A wrong answer in the rhyme test has consequences, but the first mistake is recoverable: return to Jean Loo twice and apologize to get another chance. A second wrong rhyme can make Hate permanent unless you have refunded Dishy.
Jean Loo later offers a free chance. The route guidance also describes a $598 charge at the third ask, tied to returning Dishy to Valdivian. Treat this as a route-specific consequence, not a general battle fee.
Choose the outcome you want
For the Love ending
When Jean Loo offers one free mistake, refuse it and choose to earn his love fairly. Accepting the safety net is the distinction the route guide gives for Love versus other outcomes.

For Friends or Hate
Jean Loo’s listed outcomes are Friends, Love, and Hate. Your battle and mistake choices affect which route you reach; avoid a second failed rhyme if you want to keep Hate from becoming permanent.

The battle-related clue for the Golden Lid is to beat Jean Loo at all of his crap battles. Other listed clues involve speaking to him and using him as a toilet through dialogue. If you are collecting it, completing just the final battle is not enough: the clue calls for winning every battle.
