How the game works
Coolmath Games describes Opposite Day as a browser puzzle-platformer controlled with WASD. Avoid red lava: touching it sends you back to the beginning. The game’s central trick is to distrust text that appears on screen.
At each new sign, pause and consider what might happen if you do the opposite of what it says. That does not mean every puzzle is solved by simply reversing a direction: in several rooms, the right answer depends on noticing how the level’s geometry or a trigger works.

Room 1
Follow the basic premise and look for a way through rather than assuming the first sign tells the truth. The available walkthrough does not establish a separate mechanical trick or exact input sequence for this room.
Room 2: Walk off the platform
You will see two platforms separated by lava. Do not jump the gap. Walk off the right platform without jumping; a bridge appears between the platforms, letting you continue to the left.

Room 3: Enter the first lava area
The pillars make a sequence of jumps look like the intended route, but the final pillar rises out of reach. Instead, enter the first lava area before the pillars. The lava disappears and a tunnel opens underneath the level.
Room 4: Take the left route
The floating platforms and sign point toward an apparent upper route. Go out to the left instead. The upper route leads to a lava-filled sub-room and near-immediate death.

Room 5: Drop down, then move right
Drop into the large area. Platforms and other level elements reveal themselves as you approach. When the game says “Go left,” move right promptly to avoid falling into the lava pit. Follow the revealed platform route and exit at the bottom left.
Room 6: Wait between the dividers
After you enter the floor area left of the starting platform, descending lava triggers and the game displays “RUN!!!” Do not run left. Stand between the two dividers and wait: just before the lava reaches you, a hole opens in the floor and drops you into the next room. Running too far can prevent the floor from opening.

Room 7: Adapt to inverted controls
Room 7 is a platforming section with an exit at the upper left. After you land near the start, the controls invert: left and right swap, and down is used to jump. Adjust your inputs and make your way to the exit. Speedrun.com lists the original game as seven levels.
