Trokka is a ranged boss in Lake City Aldevir’s “Witch’s Castle” mission. The practical approach is to stay mobile, dodge through attacks when you can close the gap, and punish clear recovery windows rather than retreating across the arena. Watch especially for the pink-glowing umbrella grab, and do not attack after her spinning charge until she lands.
Where to find Trokka
Trokka appears in Lake City Aldevir during the main mission “Witch’s Castle,” according to GamerBlurb’s Trokka guide. PowerPyx lists her as boss 10 in its boss guide sequence.

How to approach the fight
GamerBlurb describes Trokka as a ranged opponent who can fill the arena with projectiles. Its general recommendation is to keep pressure on her and dodge toward her when an attack creates an opening; backing away can leave her more room to control the fight. Treat dodging as the preferred general approach, not a guarantee that blocking or brink guarding will never help: the guide cautions that those defenses may involve frost buildup and chip damage.
The move names and responses below reflect that guide’s descriptions, not independently verified frame data. Timings and outcomes may differ with difficulty, build, or game updates.

First phase: evade the patterns, then close in
- Triple water orbs: Dodge through the sequence while moving toward Trokka, rather than simply retreating.
- Three-shot umbrella beam: Avoid the shots and look for an opening to approach.
- Slower floating orbs: Move sideways around them; the guide recommends lateral movement rather than backing away.
- Three-hit melee sequence: Avoid trying to trade through the combo. Wait until the sequence ends before retaliating.
- Umbrella grab: A pink glow on the umbrella is the guide’s warning cue. Dodge backward immediately instead of attempting to attack through it.
- Whirlpool and orb rain: Keep moving to avoid the arena hazards and projectiles, then resume pressure when a safe opening appears.
- Spinning umbrella charge: The guide warns that charges can be feints. After a real charge, wait for Trokka to land before taking a punish opportunity.
Later phase: manage the arena-edge sequence
GamerBlurb reports that the later phase begins at approximately 60% health. Trokka then flies around the edge of the arena, adding projectile volleys and jellyfish. The guide recommends staying near and grabbing the blue jellyfish for stamina recovery during this sequence. For the final purple projectile wave and the delayed Burst Attack, avoid dodging too early: wait for the attack’s timing, then evade. Because the charge can be a feint, do not commit to a punish until the attack and landing are clear.

PowerPyx gives spear a broad preference in its general guide, but does not establish that as Trokka-specific testing. Choose the style that fits your build and the defensive approach you can execute consistently. The game’s official PlayStation description likewise presents bosses as having distinct patterns and abilities, with weapons and gear available to customize your tactics; it does not identify a Trokka-specific weakness.
