Build your Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade team around the stage you are facing and the units you actually own: pick a damage dealer, then add allies whose buffs or debuffs help that attacker do its job. Equip Recollection Bits to support each role, and use the sub-unit and borrowed support slots to add coverage. There is no single strongest lineup established for every server, patch, and encounter.
How teams and combat work
Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade is a turn-based mobile RPG built around player-created teams fighting cursed spirits. The official Sumzap site describes the game as free to play with some paid content and highlights custom team battles. The Japanese Google Play listing identifies it as a turn-based RPG and showed its latest update as 18 September 2026; that regional listing does not establish every detail for other servers.

A community-maintained beginner’s guide describes four main units at the start of battle, one sub-unit that replaces a defeated main unit, and an optional support borrowed from another player. It also describes three command skills, passive auto skills, an ultimate skill that can be used once its gauge fills, and Recollection Bits equipped by characters. These are guide-level details, so use the live game interface to confirm current slot and skill behavior.
Build around the stage, not a universal lineup
1. Check the encounter first
Read the stage’s enemy details and any restrictions before choosing your team. Some player discussions mention late-game stages that may favor particular attributes or impose restrictions, but those are anecdotal examples: confirm requirements in the stage itself rather than assuming they apply broadly.

2. Choose a damage plan
Select a damage dealer whose damage type and skills fit the encounter. Rarity or a broad tier label alone does not show that a character is the right pick for a particular stage. The sources available here do not establish a current, server-specific tier list or a universally strongest lineup.
3. Add support that actually helps
Review each ally’s command, ultimate, and passive skills. Look for buffs that increase the chosen attacker’s damage or debuffs that weaken the target. The beginner’s guide presents a damage dealer supported by allies as one workable approach, including concentrating buffs or debuffs around a single finisher. A support-heavy composition can suit that plan in some fights, but it is not a fixed recipe for every encounter.
4. Equip for each role
Equip Recollection Bits with effects that complement the character’s intended job and your overall damage plan. The guide confirms that characters can equip these items, but the sources do not provide a complete, current best-in-slot list. Check the effects shown in your game rather than relying on an unsupported universal setup.
5. Use reserve and borrowed slots deliberately
Choose a sub-unit that gives the team useful replacement coverage if a main unit is defeated. If the borrowed support slot is available, consider a friend’s unit that adds a buff, debuff, or other role your own lineup lacks. Neither slot should be treated as a substitute for checking the stage’s needs.

Plan actions around skills and the ultimate gauge
During battle, select command actions with their effects and the ultimate gauge in mind. The beginner’s guide says the ultimate becomes available when its gauge is full; check the current unit’s skill descriptions and costs in-game, since the guide does not establish every current skill detail. Prioritize the sequence that enables your damage plan—for example, applying a useful debuff or buff before the main attacker acts when the skill effects support that order.
How to compare two team ideas
These are practical comparison questions, not official in-game scoring criteria. Use them to decide which lineup better fits the encounter:
- Damage plan: Is there a clear main attacker, and do allied buffs or enemy debuffs support that attacker?
- Stage fit: Does the lineup address the enemy and any restrictions shown for the stage?
- Staying power: Do the four main slots and sub-unit provide enough coverage to continue if someone is defeated?
- Execution: Do the Recollection Bits and planned action timing help the team carry out its intended strategy?
Adjust the team when a fight goes badly
Change one part of the lineup at a time so you can identify what was missing. If the team runs out of time or cannot finish the enemy, examine its damage plan and whether its buffs or debuffs support the main attacker. If units fall too quickly, reconsider survival or replacement coverage. If the battle stalls despite adequate damage and survival, check for a stage mechanic, a restriction, or skill timing that the current plan does not address. This is a way to reason from the team’s roles and battle structure, not a claim that a particular adjustment has been tested.
