A useful daily routine in Zenless Zone Zero is a short checklist, not a demand to clear every mode: claim Daily Errands rewards, take your Coff Café coffee, spend Battery Charge on materials you need, collect the Newsstand reward, and pick up Random Play Video Store revenue. Treat Agent Trust and Quality Time as optional extras while you are progressing those Agents. Menu labels, rewards, and rotations can change with updates, so follow the countdowns and prompts shown in your own game.
The core daily checklist
Use this order as a convenient routine rather than a timed route. Taking coffee before spending Battery Charge makes sense if you want to use the restored charge immediately; the checklist below still leaves the farming choice to your account’s needs.
- Claim Daily Errands rewards. Complete the available errands, then explicitly claim the reward boxes and the Daily Activity meter reward. Filling the meter and collecting its rewards are separate actions.
- Visit Coff Café. Take the daily coffee. A current third-party checklist, marked verified in-game for Version 3.2, reports that coffee restores 60 Battery Charge. Check the in-game prompt for the current amount and availability. Game8’s Daily Reset checklist
- Spend Battery Charge where it helps now. Choose materials for an Agent or W-Engine you are actively building rather than farming by habit. Possible destinations include HIA Combat Simulation, Routine Cleanup, Expert Challenge, Notorious Hunt after free weekly attempts, or an active Battery bonus event. These options have different rewards and costs; there is no single best choice for every account. The same checklist identifies spending charge before it caps as part of its core loop.
- Claim the Newsstand reward. Open the Newsstand and collect the available daily reward.
- Collect Random Play Video Store revenue. Pick up the accumulated revenue, then set up the store to continue earning if its management options are available to you.
Choose Battery Charge spending by need
Before entering a farming stage, decide what upgrade or material is the current bottleneck. Compare the stage’s cost and reward with that need, account for any free weekly attempt you still have, and check whether a time-limited Battery bonus is active. The named destinations are options, not a prescribed ranking.
To inspect your reserves, use the Compendium resource bar: HoYoverse’s Version 3.0 announcement says it displays Battery Charge, Backup Battery Charge, and Ether Batteries. An older HoYoLAB Version 1.2 announcement described Backup Battery Charge recovery as one point every 18 minutes, up to 2,400. Those are historical system details, not a current recommendation about how much charge to spend each day. Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.2 announcement on HoYoLAB
Keep weekly activities in a separate pass
Weekly objectives are worth checking, but they do not need to be added to every short daily session. The third-party checklist lists Ridu Weekly activities and milestone claims, Hollow Zero or Lost Void bounty objectives and Z-Merit earning, and the rotating Deadly Assault challenge as weekly content. Check the in-game countdown for the current schedule, especially around version transitions, when rotation timing may shift. Game8’s Daily Reset checklist

The checklist reports a daily reset at 04:00 server time and a weekly reset on Monday at 04:00 server time. Because reset timing can depend on the server and schedules can change, use the countdown displayed in your game when deciding whether a task is about to reset. Game8’s Daily Reset checklist
Optional progression, not daily obligations
If you are still building relationships with Agents, Agent Trust and Quality Time can be useful additions. They are optional progression, not prerequisites for collecting the core daily rewards. Skip them when you have no relevant Agent goal or want to keep the session brief.
