- Travel to a functioning Gem Cutting Table in your castle or other permitted crafting area.
- Open the table’s recipe list and select Siege Golem Stone.
- Check that the input slots show 8 Obsidian and 1 Primal Blood Essence.
- Begin production. The listed craft duration is 1,800 seconds, or 30 minutes.
- Keep the finished stone available for the assault. It must be carried to the deployment point; crafting it does not summon a golem automatically.

Place it outside the target castle
The Siege Golem Stone cannot be deployed inside a castle. Carry it to a position outside the target and look for a location the game considers uncontested. “Uncontested” is a placement requirement, not merely a suggestion to stand near the wall; if the placement is rejected, move away from the contested area and try again.

Scout before exposing the stone
Activation is visible and stationary, so scouting should happen before placement. Identify the wall or door you intend to hit, check likely defender positions, and decide where clan members will stand while the stone activates. Have the group in position first; placing the stone starts the vulnerable 150-second sequence.

Standard settings globally announce a golem spawn, but server settings can alter both announcement behavior and map visibility. Detection therefore depends on the individual server. Read the server’s siege configuration or ask an administrator before committing a stone, especially if your plan assumes that defenders will not receive a global warning.
Activate the Siege Golem
- Carry the stone to the approach. Bring the completed Siege Golem Stone to the selected uncontested position outside the target castle.
- Place it. Confirm that the game accepts the location. The stone cannot be placed inside a castle.
- Defend the activation. The stone takes 150 seconds to activate. Treat the entire period as a protection objective; losing control of the area can prevent a useful transformation even if the craft itself succeeded.
- Interact when activation completes. Use the stone to transform into the Siege Golem only after the activation finishes.
- Move immediately toward the selected structure. The transformation has a maximum duration of 300 seconds, so avoid spending the opening moments on unnecessary travel.
The activation timer and the golem timer are separate. The 150 seconds is the waiting period before transformation; the 300 seconds begins once you become the golem.
How long the golem lasts and what can end it
Maximum five-minute form
The Siege Golem form lasts up to 300 seconds, or five minutes. That is a ceiling, not a guaranteed operating time. Incoming damage can destroy the golem earlier.
Durability scales from the Siege Stone
The amount of damage the golem can absorb scales with the Siege Stone’s health. The available item descriptions do not provide a universal hit-point number, so do not plan around an invented health value. Protecting the stone during activation and limiting defender pressure after transformation both preserve the time you have to attack structures.

Use the window for a defined target
Because the form is temporary and damage can shorten it, select a wall or door before transforming. A scattered attack wastes the same limited durability and clock that a focused breach would use. Let clan members handle interference while the golem concentrates on the stone structure.
What a Siege Golem can break
The golem is a siege tool for stone structures. Its intended job is attacking castle stone walls and doors to open an entry point. The supplied mechanics do not establish that it destroys every building type, player, or defensive object in the same way, so treat “breaks stone walls and doors” as the reliable use case rather than assuming universal demolition.
Focus on a wall or door
Choose one section and keep the attacks concentrated. Opening a single route gives the clan a clear objective during the short transformation and makes it easier to exploit the state that follows a successful destruction.
Coordinate the breach team
The golem should not be the entire assault. Assign players to watch the activation site, screen the golem from defenders, and move through the opening when it appears. This division lets the siege form spend its limited attacks on the structure instead of chasing targets.

Each golem attack on a castle applies Castle Under Attack for one minute, according to the mechanics reference. This status signals an active siege and should be treated as a short, high-pressure period in which defenders may respond.

Breached
Destroying a castle wall or door applies Breached for eight minutes. During that window, the reference describes structures as taking damage from all sources with a four-times multiplier. The breach window is therefore the moment for the clan to execute its prepared follow-up rather than pause outside the opening.
Server settings can change the practical risk
Announcements, map visibility, and other detection behavior are configurable. The named statuses and their listed durations describe the mechanics reference, while the way players learn about a spawn can vary by server. Confirm local rules before deciding how much time you have before defenders arrive.
A reliable siege sequence
- Verify the version and recipe. Confirm that the server uses the current 8-Obsidian, 1-Primal Blood Essence recipe rather than a legacy ruleset.
- Unlock the item. Defeat Terah the Geomancer and confirm the recipe appears at the Gem Cutting Table.
- Craft early enough. Start the 1,800-second production cycle well before the intended assault. Do not count the 30-minute craft as part of the battlefield timer.
- Scout the target. Select the exact stone wall or door, identify an uncontested approach, and establish where allies will defend the activation.
- Assemble the clan. Put the assault group in position before exposing the stone. Decide who protects the stone, who distracts defenders, and who will enter after the breach.
- Place only when ready. Deployment starts the 150-second activation and may trigger the server’s configured announcement or visibility behavior.
- Hold the activation site. Protect the stone for the complete 150 seconds. A late arrival or an unguarded approach can waste the crafted item.
- Transform and attack. Interact with the activated stone, then move directly to the chosen wall or door.
- Exploit the opening. When the structure breaks, use the eight-minute Breached period for the planned push while allies continue screening the area.
- Withdraw or reset deliberately. If the golem is destroyed early or the assault loses control, stop feeding players into the same approach. Preserve surviving resources and plan a new craft rather than improvising with an expired transformation.
Common mistakes and fixes
Farming the obsolete materials
Symptom: You collect Stone Brick, Gem Dust, Scourgestone, and Greater Blood Essence because an older guide lists them. Fix: Check the current Gem Cutting Table recipe; current item data calls for 8 Obsidian and 1 Primal Blood Essence.
Trying to place the stone inside the castle
Symptom: The placement command is unavailable or rejected within the castle perimeter. Fix: Move to an uncontested position outside the castle and try again.
Arriving after placement
Symptom: The stone is activating while the defense group is still traveling. Fix: Scout and assemble first. The activation lasts 150 seconds, and the stone needs protection for that entire interval.

Assuming five minutes is guaranteed
Symptom: The golem disappears before 300 seconds. Fix: Remember that 300 seconds is the maximum; incoming damage can destroy the form earlier. Reduce defender pressure and attack the selected structure without detours.

Symptom: Defenders arrive sooner than expected, or your clan assumes a spawn is hidden when it is announced globally. Fix: Check the server’s announcement and map-visibility settings before the assault.
Failing to use the breach window
Symptom: A wall or door falls, but the clan hesitates outside until the advantage is gone. Fix: Assign an entry group in advance and move through the opening during the eight-minute Breached period.
