On a PC, change the avatar that appears on your Roblox profile through the website’s Avatar Editor: sign in, select Avatar, then choose the items you want your avatar to wear. Roblox’s help pages describe that as changing your avatar’s appearance—not as uploading a separate profile picture or editing its pose and framing.
Change the avatar shown on your Roblox profile
- Sign in to Roblox in a PC browser.
- Select Avatar from the navigation menu to open the Avatar Editor. See Roblox’s browser guide to customizing your avatar.
- Choose a category, such as hats, hair, or face, and select the item you want to use.
- If an addition or removal does not display correctly on your avatar, select Redraw beneath the avatar picture.
- Open your profile to check the result. Roblox describes the player icon as part of the profile’s basic information box.
What Roblox means by a profile picture
Roblox’s profile help distinguishes the player icon in the profile’s basic information box from the picture in Currently Wearing, which shows how the player’s avatar currently looks. Both relate to the avatar, so changing its items changes its appearance rather than replacing it with an independently uploaded image. See Roblox’s profile and customization guide.
Can you change the pose, zoom, or rotation on PC?
The Roblox support pages cited here document browser-based avatar item changes and the Redraw option, but do not establish a PC workflow for changing the profile image’s pose, zoom, or rotation. Roblox’s avatar support category separates browser and mobile customization help; that distinction does not confirm which pose or framing controls are currently available in the PC app. Avoid treating an unofficial extension or script as a Roblox-supported method.
