You usually can’t change the email on a Ubisoft account by simply editing the account settings if you cannot receive messages at the address currently attached to it. First try to recover that mailbox. If that fails, sign in through a platform account already linked to Ubisoft, if available, or submit Ubisoft’s account-recovery form. Once you regain access to the Ubisoft account, you can update its email address.
1. Try to recover your old email account
Ubisoft recommends contacting the email provider to restore access to the mailbox associated with your Ubisoft account. This is often the most direct route because you can then receive Ubisoft’s verification or recovery messages. Follow your provider’s account-recovery process; Ubisoft cannot restore access to a mailbox hosted by another service. Ubisoft’s account-access guidance recommends contacting the email service provider when you can no longer access the address on the account.
2. Try signing in with a linked platform account
If you previously linked a PlayStation, Xbox, or other platform account to your Ubisoft account, try using that platform’s sign-in option on Ubisoft Account Management. Ubisoft says a linked platform account may let you log in and reach your account settings even when you cannot access the Ubisoft email address. This only applies if the account was already linked; it does not establish a new link or bypass Ubisoft’s verification requirements. See Ubisoft’s account-access guidance.
3. Submit the Ubisoft account-recovery form
If you cannot restore the mailbox and cannot sign in through a linked account, use Ubisoft’s sign-in recovery flow to reach Support. The detailed official instructions currently available for this route are in French, so button labels may vary by language or interface version. Look for the equivalent options if the wording differs.

- Open the Ubisoft account sign-in page and select “Trouble logging in?”
- Select “I forgot my password” and enter the email address you believe is associated with the account.
- Complete the CAPTCHA, then choose “I don’t have access to my email address.”
- Choose Ubisoft Support and complete the account-recovery form with the information requested.
Ubisoft’s step-by-step account-recovery article describes this route. Ubisoft does not publish a guaranteed response time, a universal list of proof required in every region, or a guaranteed recovery outcome. Provide accurate information through the form and wait for Support’s response.
4. Check for Ubisoft messages if you are waiting
If you have submitted a request or are expecting a verification email, check your spam, junk, and promotional folders. Ubisoft lists these official sender addresses for account messages; you can add them to your email provider’s allowlist:

5. Update the address after you regain account access
After you can sign in to Ubisoft Account Management, use the account’s email or personal-information settings to change the address. Complete any verification Ubisoft requests. If you still cannot access the account settings, continue with the recovery request rather than trying to create a new account to replace the old one; Ubisoft directs account-related questions to its Help site and online support form. The exact settings labels can vary by interface and locale.

Protect your account during recovery
Use Ubisoft’s official Help site and recovery form for account requests. Ubisoft says account support is not offered through its Discord or X support channels. Do not give anyone your password or payment details in exchange for faster recovery: Ubisoft states, “Ubisoft employees will never ask you to provide personal payment or login credentials.” See its guidance on recognizing legitimate Ubisoft communications.
