Check the exact banner’s Summon Details panel for its rates and its Summon History or guarantee counter for progress. FGO rates and guarantee counts are tied to the banner and lineup: pickup raises the appearance probability of featured Servants and Craft Essences, but does not change the overall rate for each rarity.
Where to find the rates for an FGO banner
- Open the summon page for the banner you plan to use. Make sure you have the correct banner and, where applicable, the current daily lineup.
- Open Summon Details. Read the rate table shown for that specific summon. FGO’s official FAQ directs players to this panel for Saint Quartz summon rates and explains that pickup changes featured-item probabilities, not the rate of each rarity overall: official FGO FAQ.
- Check the lineup as well as the rarity. A rarity-wide rate does not tell you the chance of getting a particular featured Servant. Use the banner’s own table rather than borrowing a percentage from a different banner or a general guide.
The September 2026 English-language banner details page in the official material reviewed displays its numerical rate table as images, so its percentages cannot be verified from the accessible text. No percentage from that example should be treated as a current or universal FGO rate; the in-game panel is the relevant source for your banner.
How the limited pickup guarantee works
On a limited-time pickup summon that has the Guaranteed Summon feature, the 330th summon guarantees one copy of the pickup ★5 (SSR) Servant if that pickup Servant has not appeared in the previous 329 summons. The rule is based on summons, not Saint Quartz spent. FGO Project/Aniplex of America states this rule in its September 2026 25 Million Downloads Gilgamesh (Archer) Pickup Summon details.
This guarantees the featured pickup ★5, not merely any SSR. The cited rule does not apply to Story Summon or Friend Point Summon. Before rolling, confirm that the specific limited pickup page has the Guaranteed Summon feature.

What counts toward the counter—and where it applies
- Eligible currency and tickets: paid and free Saint Quartz, as well as summon tickets, count under the cited banner rules.
- Extra summons: the banner’s +1 summon from a 10x roll and its once-daily paid 1x summon also count. Check the history or counter on the actual banner page to track progress.
- Separate pages and lineups: concurrent pickup summons have separate counts. A daily lineup change also starts a separate count; the official example identifies a change at 21:00 PDT.
- No carryover after the pickup ends: the count does not transfer to another summon when the limited pickup ends.
For those reasons, compare the counter on the exact banner and lineup you intend to roll on. The amount of currency spent elsewhere—or progress shown on another pickup page—does not establish progress toward this banner’s guarantee.
When the guarantee counter resets
The counter resets if the pickup ★5 appears within the first 329 summons, or when the 330th summon fulfills the guarantee. The official Japanese Guaranteed Summon FAQ says a new count begins with the next summon: FGO Guaranteed Summon FAQ. A non-pickup SSR is not listed as a reset condition in the cited official banner rules, so do not assume that any SSR resets the count.
What an 11x summon guarantees
Each 11x summon has two separate minimums under the sampled September 2026 English banner rules:
- At least one ★4 (SR) or higher card. It may be a Servant or a Craft Essence.
- At least one ★3 (R) or higher Servant. Its distribution differs from the ordinary distribution in the banner’s rate table.
These 11x floors are distinct from the limited pickup guarantee. If the 330th-summon condition is met during an 11x, the pickup ★5 guarantee applies separately under that banner’s rules.
How to compare banners before you roll
Compare each banner using its own details and counter, rather than the rarity-wide rate alone. Check:
- the featured lineup and the exact featured SSR rate shown in that banner’s Summon Details;
- whether it is a limited pickup with the Guaranteed Summon feature;
- the remaining summons shown in that banner’s history or counter; and
- the banner’s end time or lineup-change time.
