Roblox lets you check recent screen time in Settings, but its documented view is not an all-time hours-played counter. If you’re 13 or older, open Privacy & content restrictions > Screen time to see your recent activity. To check a child’s account, use a linked parent account and open the child’s screen-time controls.
Check your own Roblox screen time
- Sign in to Roblox and open Settings. On desktop, select the gear icon in the upper-right corner. In the mobile app, tap More in the lower-right corner, then Settings.
- For an account belonging to someone aged 13 or older, go to Privacy & content restrictions > Screen time.
- Check the screen-time chart for recent platform use. To see which games or other experiences account for some of that time, open Top experiences.
Roblox describes the chart as a seven-day average. Top experiences lists up to 20 experiences played in the previous week. Experiences that have been removed from Roblox do not appear in that list. See Roblox’s Managing Screen Time instructions.
Check a child’s Roblox screen time
You’ll need a parent account with parent privileges linked to the child’s Roblox account. Roblox requires an adult age check for parent privileges, and available parental controls can depend on the child’s age. For details on linking accounts, see Roblox’s account-linking instructions.
- Sign in to the parent account and open Settings. On desktop, select the gear icon at the upper right; in the mobile app, tap More at the lower right, then Settings.
- Open Parental Controls and select the child’s account.
- Find Screen time and select Manage. The view includes a seven-day average and a Top experiences list of recent experience-level playtime.

Does Roblox show lifetime hours played?
The documented Screen time tools show recent use: a seven-day average and experiences played during the last week. Roblox’s instructions do not document a cumulative, all-time hours-played counter, so the weekly view should not be read as your lifetime total.
Why might the Screen time option look different?
Access and available controls can vary with account age and region. Roblox notes that feature availability may differ by region, so menu labels or visibility may not be identical for every account. Its Roblox Kids and Roblox Select information describes account types and availability.
