For San Diego State football’s 2026 conference games, check the Pac-12’s official player availability reports. The conference says the reports are coordinated with member institutions and posted on Pac-12.com. Use SDSU’s schedule and game-week materials for timing and context, and its roster only to verify player details—not to determine whether someone is available to play.
Check the official availability report first
- Find the next game and kickoff. Confirm them on the official San Diego State football schedule; game dates or times can change.
- Open the Pac-12 report page. Check the 2026 football player availability reports during the release windows that apply to the matchup.
- Check again close to kickoff. The conference’s stated schedule includes a game-day update, so an earlier report may not be the latest available information.
- Use SDSU’s weekly materials for context. The schedule page links weekly notes and media materials. Coach comments can add context, but they are not a substitute for the formal report.
- Verify roster details separately. The official SDSU roster can help confirm a player’s name and position. A roster listing does not establish health, clearance, or expected game participation.
When the Pac-12 reports are due
For Pac-12 conference matchups in the 2026 season, the conference says reports are due by 7 p.m. PT three days before the game, by 7 p.m. PT two days before, and by 7 p.m. PT one day before. A further update is due no later than two hours before the published kickoff.
As of October 4, 2026, SDSU’s official schedule listed its next game as a road matchup at Oregon State on October 10 at 3 p.m. PT. On that schedule, the listed report windows correspond to October 7, 8 and 9, followed by the game-day update on October 10. Recheck both the schedule and report page in case kickoff or other details change.
Non-conference games may follow a different schedule
The Pac-12 says non-conference availability reporting occurs only when both the opponent and the opponent’s conference participate. Timing adjusts to the participating opponent’s arrangement. Do not assume the Pac-12’s conference-game cadence applied to an earlier non-conference game.

How to handle a missing or unclear report
- If no report is posted, check the official page again during the next applicable release window.
- If an entry is unclear, do not translate it into a definite claim that a player is in or out unless the report itself supports that conclusion.
- Do not infer availability from practice photos, a depth chart, participation in a prior game, or rumors.
- When sharing a status, identify the game and when you checked. Player availability can change, and an older report may no longer reflect the latest update.

What is established—and what is not
The Pac-12’s 2026 policy page says its purpose is to promote the integrity of competition, protect student-athlete and staff well-being and privacy, and provide consistent public transparency. The policy page establishes the publication venue and timing, but it does not, by itself, define every report label or establish an individual player’s status. Check the actual report for the specific game before making a player-level claim.
